Battled really well today against a very decent Glenarm today even though it was a disappointing scoreline. Brave few players unavailable today, so we were always going to be up agaisnt it. Seamy and Ally both got run outs (if you can call them runs ) and young Callum got a good 90 mins. Held them well at half time, 0 -0 playing against a gale force wind then fecking typical as soon as the 2nd half starts the wind changed direction against us again Could actually have taken the lead but their keeper puled off a good save forn Gary Aiken in 1st half. To be fair in the 2nd half they dominated the rest of the game, though we didnt help matters when we conceded a bad goal from a corner. Their 2nd goal was a screamer in the top corner and their third goal as the last kick of the game with half our team still in their half!! Still a good performance though, especiallyafter the midweek defeat at Briad and with about 5 or 6 players still to come back in were looking OK for the rest fo the season. Good luck for Glenarm for the rest of the season, few of their players were saying thats the 1st time in a couple months they've had their full squad available, and they looked a very decent footballing team.
