As usual looking forward to another game against Seventowers and hope we can do better than are last meeting with them . It was are only defeat in about ten match's at the start of the season ,and the only match we did not have a full team to pit from I even got a game myself that night. Seventowers on that night where far to good for us but things have changed for both teams since then. Seventowers seem to have had alot of injury's, and the Reds have had to rebuild in certain area's mainly the spin of the team .We have a young side now apart from 1 or 2 and they really aren't that old either. Hope both teams are at full strength both need 3 points will be a tough match!!

Bremner I have jumped from Seventowers posts to here I think we out stayed are welcome!!. Back to this ha ha ha. The reason I would say a few of us do not have League medals is because the word loyalty comes to mind .I for one had opportunity's to go to Carniny and Raceview and win league medals but I declined.Would rather stay with my own team in my own town through thick and thin and I have know regrets. Buy the way how many have YOU!! 3rd div player of the year!!

I think i will start by saying it must have been 2 o'clock this morning before i had my starting 11. It must be fate when we play seven towers that I always seem to get a game myself it just shows you how bad we were struggling. I must say it was a must win for us and a badly needed three points so before we went out we were well fired up for the game. The game started up well for us we had a few early chances but then John Kitson was clean through and only had to pass the ball into the net from the penalty spot and decided to walk it from there on in how he missed it i do not no the seven towers defender i think it was dinger got back at him and cleared the danger. John had 2 or 3 more chances on another day he would have taken them. The score was nil, nil at half time, but were extremely disappointed it was not 3 or 4. The second half started and shortly into it the Reds had a throw in. Barry Mott held onto the ball to long in the referee's eyes and turned the throw around to Seventower who quickly threw it forward and their center forward ran threw and scored to the dis belief of the Reds players. This give Seventowers a much needed lift and the Reds a good kick up the ass. Looking back at the game at that stage if you don't take your chances things like this can happen. I must say Seventowers midfield passed the ball better than ours but with a lot of determination and a great cross from Barry Mott we drew level at 1-1 threw Willy Mc Kitterick header. Seventowers had another great chance threw their number 10 but big Davy Reid made a great save and what do you know?, John Kitson scored the winner with about 5 mins to go to give the Reds in my eyes a well deserved 3 points.Seventowers contributed greatly to the game and likely will have their own views on the game. It's funny to say it but both teams every week sees things different. I do not get into a slagging match with other teams Seventowers were very sporting and i hope they go on to make the play offs. With both Peter the great Hurrell and Brian Surgenor unavailable for todays game both have contributed 22 goals between them it was a big loss but the Reds have got a young determined side who never no when to give up. I would like to give a special mention to young Scott Taylor it was his first competitive start for the Reds and I must say he done very well. I would also like to thank the Sky Blue players who give us a lot of support down the line i even seen a couple of them with Reds tops on, " Thanks Lads!" It was even that good i went down this afternoon and rolled the pitch for your next 2 important matches. "The future looks bright at the Reds!", and what was that i heard?, "Come on the Reds!"
The Team Today
1 Davy Reid 2 Andy Harte 3 Stephen Dripps* 4 Brian Rainey 5 David Waddell* 6 Micky McNally 7 Micky McKendry 8 Barry Mott 9 John Kitson 10 Willy McKitt 11 Scott Taylor
Subs Matt Keenan Chris Perry Kenny French Man of the Match*

think that was a fair enuf assessment back4, youse were def the better side in first half and id say we shaded the second. when we were 1 up we had chances for the second which would have killed the game off. as it was we couldnt get it and conceeded two soft goals from set plays. think a draw would have been a fair result but fair play to u for keepin goin to the final whistle. all the best for rest of season
