The O C youth club must be one of the best breeding grounds in Randalstown for young players to get together for football and show what they can do!!and I am so glad to be part of it. There are certainly plenty of good young footballers in Randalstown and being there I will try and snap them up for the Reds and then maybe the Sky Blue's will come sniffing along.

Another excellent breeding ground is the Arches youth club, however with an ex Athletic manager taking charge of all footballing duties within the Arches, Athletic will be on hand to snap any future stars

I distinctly remember playing with a group of mates against the O.C Youth team last Summer and I wouldn't call them brilliant; unless they've vastly changed from the team we played. It was 9-1 to us if I recall correctly, with young Jason Beattie netting an overheader against them inside ten minutes and I swung in a cross for Brucey to score (by his admission) the best header of his life, late in the second...although he might have scored a better one since . Also of note was wee McCracken scoring a hat trick I think, from out on the right... All in all we had a player sent off before the end of the first half (in a hilarious decision by the referee) and another left the pitch before the end due to being rather unfit...so most of the second half was played 9 on 11. No great shakes Brian .

Ever 1 on my team sheet will be there nearly ever week can the Arches do the seem? Well we weren't the Arches when we played them so I doubt anyone from our team last Summer will be in the Arches team if you play them...maybe someone...but even that's doubtful. As for what the Arches team is like I wouldn't know Brian...never seen them play. I only know from experience that the OC team last year had better be improved; which they do seem to be. Are you running them solo...or is it yourself and a few others? Seems to be taking off rightly.

Robin ; Bremner said an ex Athletic manager runs it ,so what is to say I can't play. I do believe I will be captain if that is alright with the rest and drive us on to victory.Yous young lads will be my legs and I will be your minds I hope ;D ;D'' So let the game roll on!!!!''. And may I say Pavel no help from the Legend!!

i think wot bremner meant when he said arches youth club ,was the neillsbrook football school under the guidence of willy beggs. which the age group is 7 - 11 year olds. think that might rule out a few of the names mentioned above.
