Cloughmills are a good strong side but you will always score plenty of goals past them. There pretty slow at the back.

The team for todays game
1 Sam Foster 2 Andy Harte 3 Stephen Dripps 4 Brian Rainey 5 David Waddell 6 David McCracken 7 Micky McKendry 8 Willy McKitt 9 Brian Surgenor 10 John Kitson 11 Peter Hurrel
Subs: Simon Brown Denis Quigley Marty Clarke David Moore
This was the first time this season we have played Cloughmills! A new year a new start for Randalstown F.C. The first 15 minutes of this game was very scrappy but after that the Reds totally dominated the first half!! Cloughmills were very lucky that the half only ended at 2 nil to the Reds. The second half started with the Reds dominating again!! and soon added a third!! Cloughmills worked hard enough but never really could break down the Reds defense! in which Andy Harte, Steven Dripps, David Waddell never gave them a look in! the Reds soon went 4 up and really must wonder how on earth it was not double figures! The Reds made a few changes near the end and did concede a late goal, which did annoy me! but all in all after 3 defeats it was nice to start the new year off with a win!!! I think Cloughmills will find it tough going the rest of the year. But as I well know in football things can soon change very quickly! I would like to give a mention to Willy Mc Kittrick who I thought on the day was outstanding!! So come on the Reds!!

Good win for you guys today after your little blip. Brian, you write up sounds like a Ballykeel write up from doc...... you taking lessons from him......because Ballykeel should win by 10 every week ;D ...only kidding. I would like to know were your are going to put your three new super star signings. A nice problem to have if this is true. As the song goes "There may be trouble ahead" Good win....well done
