Reds are doing very well this season but for god sack they would never stick the pace with the Glebe's, Rasharkins, Ballynure's etc..

Super Ranger it makes me laugh to hear that a combined skyblue/reds team could not compete in the intermediate league. You go on to say that teams like Glebe, Rasharkin and Ballynure would be that much higher standard. The skyblues have already seen off Ballynure in a friendly in which they were playin 3 Ballyclare Com players as well. Raceview, a season and a half ago were saw off quite easily by the Skyblues in the league and cup final. They went on the next year to be one of the leading teams in the intermediate league. So my own personal opinion is that a Combined Reds/Skyblue team could hold their own. And possibly Athletic as well ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

For once steppy, I have to agree with you. I think the town needs an afternoon side. There is enough talent within the town to compete....certainly in the intermediate league. The problem with this idea is that most of the good players don't get on with each other. But I do agree with you. Just thought.......you could make Jackson the legend the manager ;D ;D ;D

I agree that an Afternoon side would be possible, if not within the agreement of the teams in my opinion.
Personally I would hate for the Reds and the SkyBlues to join together and lose their separate identities, as the rivalry between the clubs makes for interesting matches when they arise.
Its not a question of the standard, but more of the fact that how many Reds players do you honestly think would beat the SkyBlues players to a starting place in a Randalstown SkyReds?
I don't think it would be in the interest of both clubs.

Pavel you could not rule any of these players out of Sky Blue's Reds team. If a afternoon team did start some players would play twice You name players mate, you've named an entire Reds team thinking that your being smart. Not a chance. Sammy Foster - From what I heard, he doesn't take much to do with the Reds these days, and the SkyBlues have Paul Clarke. So there goes Sammy's place in a SkyReds team. Davy Reid - In front of who? Seriously, Davy's not a bad player, but you have to remember your picking a team out of players at both clubs, and when picking the best team Davy isn't in front of anyone I can see in the SkyBlues. Peter Compton - Again in front of who? Stephen Dripps - Dripps or Sammy Neill at left back, I think Sammy would be the first choice left back steppy mate. So Dripps doesn't have a place. David Waddell - Players who walk off a pitch do not deserve to play. End of story...his talent doesn't matter when his attitude is like that. Barry Mott - In front of who? Barry is a possibility, but again he walked away from the SkyBlues over a silly dispute. Talent, but attitude is again not of the right type. Michael (?) McKendry - Dunno him, and I've never heard of him, so I can't comment. William McKittrick - William is one of the best players the SkyBlues ever had, although now, I don't think he would fit in a joint team anywhere. Possibly up front alongside Dowie. So therefore, so far you've named one Reds player who would make a SkyReds team. Simon Murphy - This has been discussed...no. Peter Gault - Not a chance...not ahead of the Blues midfield. Owen Martin - Who? Peter Hurrell - Haven't seen him play yet so no comment. Brian Surgenor - No...not ahead of Dowie or McKittrick, or even Gareth, so he has no place. So steppy, I think your being a little too biased when picking your Reds team in your mind mate, only one of them would even make the team, and Simon Murphy would be borderline if you mixed the teams. All the players you've named, I'm not attacking their talent, its the fact that they would simply not get on ahead of the SkyBlues players. Did you forget Decky? . Go ahead and pick a best eleven out of the SkyBlues and the Reds steppy, for a laugh. ;D . Whatever you come up with will surely have about ten Reds players in it whom you obviously think are better than the likes of Dowie, Clarke, Hogarty, Waddell, Brucey, Quigley, Wilson, Cocky and Co. GK: Paul Clarke DL: Sammy Neill DC: Chay Hogarty DC: Mark Waddell DR: Decky/Bruce ML: Darin Quigley MC: Ricky Wilson MC: William McKittrick MR: Cocky FC: Christopher Dowie FC: Peter Hurrell (maybe, I haven't seen him yet) So from what I can see three Reds players maximum would get in a Randalstown SkyReds football team.

Pavel, u talk some sh**e!!! Barry is a possibility, but again he walked away from the SkyBlues over a silly dispute. Talent, but attitude is again not of the right type.
How is his attitude wrong? Its amateur league football and u play where u enjoy playing. junior wanted a break from the blues and agreed when weedo signed that if either of them went anywhere else the other would go too. how many training sessions does he miss? How many matches does he miss? how often is he booked or sent off? I'll tell u. he very rarely miss training, never misses matches and is very rarely booked? gives 100% to the two clubs he plays for at the minute and did when he was at the sky blues. very harsh comment by u here pavel!
i could name u at least 4 of ur team that dont train at all. not saying theyre bad players but is that not a bad attitude? and ur picking on junior. so wind the neck in a wee bit mate.

Barry Mott from what I hear is a manager's delight. Must agree with Benny.Always makes training and works his socks of during a match( quality little player).Pavel you have named great players in your team but four of them do not train if they did (class)

Pavel you have named great players in your team but four of them do not train if they did ( class) Do you always lick everyone's arse or is it just the Reds steppy . Aaron, I am only saying what I see, and if that doesn't agree with your perceptions of a player then I am sorry to disagree with you, but I never said Bubbles didn't have talent, but his attitude is to be desired. We all know why he left the SkyBlues. Steppy you want to talk about players who train for the Reds, how about all last season there was two first team Reds players who actually trained. Why don't you do some research before you start typing lad and save yourself the hassle. ...you still haven't named your SkyReds eleven steppy, boar got your tongue .
