well said bchoops88 some boys jus wana join the band wagon dont really care about the team and how cud u wit a manager like that if i didnt care i would have signed for all saints in div 1?? you tried to sign for the saints, but we said we didnt want you, as you prob wouldnt get your place, and we didnt want you to take up jersey space, so we decided to send you to play for our reserves instead  WHAMMO!!! |

i dont agree it was that nite that the rumour started goin round, no way was it durin the match, and they were beaten fair and square yes fish so what makes them all think they are goin to do so well in the 2nd wit the likes of mccrud and hendron running about thinking there the dogs balls. plus there new signings wont play half the time or be injured the other half

Your right about the new signings Qwerty, the likes of Lenny if he signs won't really have a part in the season for Northend because, all being well, he'll be focused on Ballymoney. I really am strongly disagreeing with your view on the rumour at the time regarding the promotion into the second. I know from your posts or at least I'm assuming that you are in some way connected to Broadway Celtic, maybe your a player, and if you were at the game that day chances are you were in my company as most of the Broadway side were there watching and we stood together having a laugh. We DEFINATELY were talking about Castletown folding and the situation that Northend would probably go up automatically even if they were beat. Before kick off I even approached Northend talisman Paddy 'Moonboots' Kearney asking him if the players were in the right frame of mind and said to him that nothing was for definate so the leds better come out and give 110% to make sure they were promoted rather than leave it to fate as I'm sure Paddy will tell you if you ask him!!
That doesn't mean I'm saying Northend tried any less, I was there and watched them play really hard. I remember the entire sideline going crazy and running to celebrate when Paul McCrory hit that injury time equaliser, which showed how much they wanted to and tried to win!!! They were beat fair and square, all I'm saying is that the rumour was definatley going around in the days leading up to the final, no doubt in my mind whatsoever!!!!
ps, Lennys always injured!! lol....
