Lads its still all here say any1 get me proper proof of either Gary or Celtic confirming this? Although sky have said they have had REPORTS and that all they are. We shall see who's right and wrong comes the end of this fiasco. And maccers mate how would signing a new contract hit him in the pocket??

Kinda ironic that Hooper put in arguably his best performance for Celtic when the worlds eyes where on him 1st was awesome build out play with lassad Sammy and Hooper with the finished and he started the move by winning a ball near his own 18 yard. His 2nd goal was a unreal finish with a cheeky flick and for browns goal he could of been greedy after great play only for him to square to brown finished clinicaly. Wouldn't take any less than 25m for Hooper and big victor.

Lennon on BBC scotland pre match, said Norwich bid for hooper was a disgrace. Chick young asked him if it was much improved on the 5 million bid, Lennon said the improved offer wasnt even near 5 million. With regards hoopers contract, he confirmed it had been rejected. It would have made him the 3rd highest paid player at the club and in the top bracket. He wanted to be no.1, lennon said 'you dont always get what you want in life'..he suggested Hoopers agents have been leaking the details of bids etc. Hes very connfident he will be at the club come 1st feb. |
