should be a great game tonight as long as any nerves from both teams doesn't kick in. Unfortunately we've lost our best player for the rest of the season in Justy Rowe but big Kenny Wright is an able replacement. Unfortunately i've been as sick as a pig this week and will miss this game (would have been on the bench anyway). All the best for tonight and may the best team win lads.

great game to watch 2nite lads
thought the penalty was harsh as it was ball to hand but the ref made mistakes all over the show
think every1 will agree with me and say sam foster was man of the match the night, simply outstanding and some of the saves he pulled off were clinical
best of luck reds for the rest of the season as the league is there for the taking

Match report
The big game started at the River Plate with the Reds taking the game to Ballykeel and had the ball in the net to be disallowed for some reason . Ballykeel then scored against the run of play and then they came into the game with some good midfield play the Reds then equalized through David Mc Neilly which brought the game to life after that both teams had half chances with Ballykeel just on top before half time. The second half started with Ballykeel playing the better football but then you could say the Reds scored their second against the run of play through Brian Surgenor what a screamer it was!! Ballykeel then came at the Reds with everything then and Sam foster in the Reds goals was outstanding. Ballykeel got a penalty one min into injury time which was a very, very harsh decision. The game ended a 2-2 draw. To sum the game up Randalstown started bright but really the game they had on Monday night caught up with them very early and the legs were dead, Ballykeel on the other hand was free on Monday night and it did show. Our defense was outstanding in the second half and possibly this is why we have had a lot of success this season but i could not be honest in saying that Ballykeel did not deserve a draw but thats how things go. We were missing a few key players but then Ballykeel could probably say the same. Good luck to Ballykeel in their remaining 2 fixtures!
The team
1 Sam Foster* 2 Micky McNally 3 Andy Harte 4 Willy McKitt 5 David Waddell 6 Barry Mott 7 Brian Surgenor 8 David McNeilly 9 John Kitson 10 Davy Reid 11 Peter Hurrell
Subs Scott Taylor , Simmon Murphy , M McBride , K French

Well done last night lads it was certainly a hard battle out there everyone played there part against a good Ballykeel side ,and agree about the Goalkeeping display by Sam Foster absolutely brilliant ,I would also like to mention a top performance by young Scott Taylor who was threw in at the deep end and after a nervous start certainly played his part . I think without doubt we will be seeing both teams in the 1st division next year, good luck to both

You signing for someone else next season? Plus you going to miss that big derby match? Thats a pity as there were more than one of my players wanting to mark you.........literally ;D . Maybe its something to do with your body guard not playing........ enjoy your holiday Weedo ;D

I think id of been safe enough in the derby match Bremner, ive seen your hatchet men and they would never catch me, there all like you and like the big macs to much if you know what i mean. Thanks for the sympathy anyway, shows the mentality of you when it comes to sportsmanship and laughing at other peoples downfalls but as i said before 'he who laughs last laughs longest!!!!'

Cause at the end off the day after watching use its going to take some revolution to get use into the first, who you planning to sign Thierry Henry? After your last three results everybody knows you as the 'village idiot' so i think you are the one who everybody is laughing at!!!!

dont look at the last three results....... look at the last 10. Win 4, draw 3, lost 3........ not the worst form of the division. If you read docs report on our match, he openly admits that we deserved more out of that game. but thats the way it goes sometimes.
I have said many many times that my aim was to stay in the division, we have very nearly achieved that. Next years a clean slate and one that our club as a whole is looking forward to.
You guys on the other hand will have a very difficult time next year if you get promoted, so dont be so complacent when you mouth off about Athletic.
Its a REAL pity that you wont be playing against us........ but maybe that was just your plan as your mate and mentor wasnt playing. Chicken boy ;D

yes mate, i did pick up on that but didnt think he had the brains to understand it. Big Mac is a superb player and would have put junior in his pocket, rattled him about for a while then dump him on the side line........ but I forgot, he has chickened out of the game. ;D

Randalstown F C v Ballykeel (McAuley Cup 3-5-06 )
It would be a lie to say this cup is are top priority at the min and will treat it as such . It is a game with no pressure at all but of coarse we would like to win it. The squad for the game reads!!
Sam Foster , Scott Taylor , Ryan Logan , Andry Harte , Micky McKendry ,Stephen Dripps , Willy McKitt , Micky McNally , Brian Surgenor ,John Kitson ,Davy Reid ,Micky McBride , Kenny French ,Simmon Murphy , Brian Rainey

Very short match report
The team talk before the match tonight I think somed the game up go out with no pressure and enjoy yourself and that what they did. The 1st half both teams had 1 or 2 chances but really both teams where very lack luster and did not have the drive of the week before . Half time 0 0 The 2nd half was a little better with Willy McKitt scoring a good free kick and really after that I could not see Ballykeel scoring we where very assured. But then Willy McKitt made a terrible mistake to hand Ballykeel a gift and by doing that brought Ballykeel to life the 2nd goal was another mix up between Stephen Dripps and Sam Foster the 2 goals complete gifts. These players have been outstanding for the Reds this season. Both teams tonight played under strength teams but good luck to Ballykeel in the next round Final score 2 1 Ballykeel
The team
1 Sam Foster 2 Ryan Logan* 3 Andy Harte 4 Stephen Dripps 5 Willy McKitt 6 Scott Taylor 7 Micky McNally 8 Micky McKendry 9 Simon Murphy 10 Davy Reid 11 John Kitson
Subs Brian Surgenor ,Brian Rainey, Kenny French[/b]Man of the match *

There seemed to be a few good young players on both sides last night, the young lad Logan at right back looks really good player and Mickey McNally has played well when i've seen him. I think young Scott Taylor has come on leaps and bounds from earlier in the season looks like he's getting a bit of confidence, comes to our training and is keen as mustard. For Ballykeel wee Ritchie and the No 11, McKay i think it is stood out, overall it's good to see !!
