Feel free to post ur all time greatest hard men from the bsml. My own personal favourite was Glynn Carson from Waterside Villa. Originally from Kells this guy was a monster. I also remember Declan Cassidy from Portglenone - Dont know whether he was that hard or whether it was his white headband that scared people!

thats you beat even before you step onto the pitch then, worrying about players in other teams just because they like to rough it up a bit. You just concentrate on your own game and get stuck in when you have to, you'll no doubt get a few kicks but its all part and parcel of the game

Def Glynn Carson - remember sitting in the top of the town one sat afternoon with him when a few of the fc antrim boys came in cheering as they had just beaten us that morning - a few of them came up and started chatting away bout how they played us off the park - Glynn just sat there for a while holding one of those really thick short glasses - seconds later he squeezed it that hard it shattered everywhere, turned round and stared at them. They were outta the bar in about 2 seconds flat! Glynn just turned round to me(blood coming from his hand) and said "You see that?" " Never f**k with a f**ker" Quality!

Ronnie Mc Fall who played for the Keel years ago would come into this category. Played at left back and dished out some meaty challenges to showboaters he didn't like much.

Very true doc, Ronnie played for Clough and took no prisoners. Neither did Blocker or Davy Coville.

Heard many stories about Glynn Carson. More about his playing abilities though. Heard he was a decent player at the villa. Also heard about the story Marc mentioned Hardest for me would have to be Andy Erwin, Hard Bast
