Got the three points which is what counts on a pitch like Cloughmills. Hard to pass the ball about on grass so tall.
The home team took the lead against the run of play but Woodside were 3-1 up at the break thanks to two wicked deflections and a goal the home side were sure was off side. Cloughmills started the 2nd half playing well and were back on terms half way through and looking to win it, but Woodside retook the lead right away and then made it 5-3 soon after. This knocked the stuffing out of the hosts who conceded a sixth right on full time. Awkward game out of the way and first league win of the season.
