Fantastic game & result last nite lads!!!!
a few super performances and you all can be proud.

Boe- Steady as always, emmense kicking ability and an entertaining route one strategist

Neck- Ha, ha (wot the F*** was that tackle before half time all about, i've seen men go to jail for that) again steady, hard hitting and reliable

Willy- Awsome, speed demon put his foot in everywhere

Marc- Another outstanding display of calmness, always itching to get the ball down and terroize teams (midfeild awaits!!! daryl???)

Derky/Worky- Head and shoulders above everyone (literally, with his 5ft frame) words would'nt do his performance justice. and i think we can safely say goal of the season is in the bag FANTASTIC, MAN OF THE MATCH

Sammy- Good game, likes to be involved and gives 110%

Andy- (new boy) first time i have seen him play (impressive) and he showed a few ronaldiniho like glimpses, looking forward to playing alongside him

Phil- Battler #1- endless displays of courage keeps that Woodside engine running

Aggy/Eggy- Battler #2- Like Phil only good (ha, ha only joking phil) fantastic ability to win the ball leads by example an never gives up

Holmsy- Cant say enough good about him, just out of hospital with a knee injury yet did'nt back out of one challenge fantatic goal. (if he gets fit he will be a candidate for third division player of the year)

Chrissy- Lightening (his first five yard burst is extrodinary and he's faster again his next ten yards) fastest in the league just needs chances!!!!!! great goal

Albert- gives his all and is improving every game

Rab- total dedication, fantastic spirit

Mark Holmes- although didnt get a run last night, a super sub and only needs one chance then some else is gonna be warming that bench

Big man- also didnt get a run be looks good from what i've seen

Congrats Fellas!!! Keep it going!!!

Pretty impressive result last night lads!

impressive!!! they were awesome, dont get me wrong b.stone had there moments and played some good one touch football but woodside seemed to suck up all there energy and hit them were it hurt. (woodside defense was fantastic , if that was the case every match they wouldnt concede all season)

From a Blackstone point of view, don't think the 3-0 scoreline was a reflection of the game as a whole.

Although we were very disappointed with our own performance and some stupid individual errors, both teams seemed very evenly matched.

Thought the Woodside back 4 were excellent throughout and i think it was one of the centrebacks who scored a fantastic second goal which turned the game as we were on top at that stage and looked like we might equalise.

Game was a bit odd also as although there were a few x-rated challenges (mostly by you boys ) the game was played in a good spirit.

Good luck for the rest of the season and hopefully we'll take the 3 points in the return fixture. ;D

Could'nt agree more, and thankfully that second goal killed you off abit cause you were really putting pressure on us.

Re: x-rated challenges: we are hard tacklers but not intentially dirty and it was good to see you were able to hit us just as hard. A couple of mistimed tackles but credit to Blackstone who "shook it off" and played on!!!
