An excellent point for the Waveney, from a game no-one thought that we could get any points. Waveney took the lead from Kenny Wright, when Colin Corry put him through in the first half with a great pass splitting the homers defence. Homers came back though, and through a corner and a tap in on the line from a shot, they were level again. Second half started well for the Waveney, but both teams were battling away. Waveney again took the lead through Kenny Wright, when he slotted the ball in from 10 yards out after a good move from the right wing. Homers didnt give up though, and got a 'soft' penalty 15 minutes later, which was taken well. Homers kept the pressure on Waveney, and a lack of concentration led to another Homers goal. 3-2 to Homers with 5 minutes to go. Waveney battled on, with Kenny Wright coming close but an amazing reflex save from the keeper denied him his hat-trick. The equaliser came when Waveney were awarded a corner, crossed in by mcfadden, and a goal-mouth scramble started, which Jay Stevens ended when he stuck the ball in the back of the net! 3-3. Some battling from all the players at the Waveney last night. Great to see again!

game of the season no doubt! what made even sweeter was that the homers had their full strength team on the field! to be fair the swifts had some great chances with 3 well worked goals! although the swifts did have a few let offs! they at least deserved a point! the squad showed great qualities even tho 5 1st teamers were not playin! only hope its not to late!!!!!
pernerol to fold lololol
