Waveney 1 - All Saints 1
Good result for the Waveney (first time i have had to say that for a while), on a Saturday where they were missing 4-5 players due to injuries etc.
Some missed chances from both teams couldve taken the game either way throughout the game. Some excellent saves from both keepers also kept the score at 1-1.

Aye he done really well on Sat, the goal was unlucky for him, just bounced off his chest. But he pulled off a couple of 'wonder-saves' during the game!! On in particular was heading for top corner, still dont know how he got to it!!!

no disrespect, but we're disappointed with this result.
thought it was a game we definitely should've won, although perhaps element of complacency cost us, attitude was quite poor from us, from the warm-up and bickering between players.
thought as a whole the game was tight enough, and we spurned some great chances.
don't really remember timmy having much to do for us, and thought mc fadden was your only real threat going forward.
anyhow, you's battled well and hope you's drag yourselves up from bottom of table, which you should be able to do if you still have players to come in. good luck.

On in particular was heading for top corner, still dont know how he got to it!!! that save from bugsy was a good save. for the goal, bugsy drilled it low and hard, hoping he would fumble it, which he did and casey followed it in. done the same for another free kick, but think he was able to collect it again. |

i didnt see the game, but i was disgusted at the result, that was a definate 2 points dropped. massive effort needed now to make up for it.

I do remember a Waveney player hitting a shot and Timmy "stuck to the ground" and the shot just deflecting off his knee, maybe a bit of luck there. McFadden was a real threat on Sat and played well, also giving Timmy a few troubles throughout the game in my opinion. |

A good point for the Wavneney, lets hope things are on the way up!!! i saw most of the first half, and i have saw you's play a few times this season, therefore i know we are a far better side than you's, therefore for us to drop 2 points to you's is a disgrace. im not having a dig at you or waveney, cos you's are a good bunch of lads, but i did say earlier in the season you's are quite a few players short of being a threat to anyone in the first. although at the same time, i also have to say fair play to you's for getting a draw, and you's can be very proud of yourselves for doing so, cos i reckon we are a top 4 or 5 team this season. |

Any comments from the waveney camp from saturdays match?
Cant believe wee burnside sitting on the bench, never even got a run out, and that tube davy played the whole game at right back. I'm not saying it would have changed the result but no harm burnside twice the player. What the craic with big wilson on bench to and no striker up front?

Awful result for the Waveney! One of the worst matches I have watched since joining some years back! All Saints deserved the win, and deserved the 7 goals, maybe more if some of the them had their shooting boots on *cough Kel cough*  ;D, and if Fulton didnt pull off some decent saves. The game, for the Waveney, was a bad one. Not one player could stand up and say that they played well. All the lads know the craic, and hopefully will give us kick up the a*se that we need. The Waveney has always been a team of battlers, so lets hope we can battle our way through the rest of the season! Also, one of the goals in the first half was a weak push on Fulton! (Just to get that in there! ;D) Goalden, thanks for the compliment! The money is in the post! lol! ;D |

Well and truely destroyed lads!! I can't believe the difference in performance from your games against Broadway Celtic when yous battled for everything and played well. Never seen a worse display from any first division team than that of Waveney on saturday!!!!!

Some experts on this forum i can tell you,mostly from boys who have won very little in saturday morning,makes me laugh.
What i saw from the match i watched on saturday was a Waveney team with very little heart and I think from what has developed over this week it clearly shows. Feel for Cecil who was a despondent figure on the sideline but no harm to you Gaolden not even you could of changed that Waveney team and as for you Fish you have a cheek to make that comment about any team or anyone.

Who says i would have wanted to change that waveney team? Not trying to be an expert. i think you'll find all i asked was for a comment on the result from the waveney side. And said that wee Burnside should have been playing. So why dont you get down off your high horse, take your beating and get on with it. You must be a big superstar with every medal under the sun to make a comment like that. By the way i havent won much but i do have a top four winners medal.

Nothing personal at all Mr.Fish just thought the comment you made was a bit harsh thats all to be made about any team.
Ive nothing to do with current Waveney or am far from a superstar Goalden but have friends there and no harm to you but I would concentrate on your own wee team and im sure Waveney will take care of themselves no matter what happens.

any talk that the swifts are 5 players short of a decent team is rubbish! a fully fit swifts team would hold its own against any team in the league! the problemn is that there are a few young players low on confidence and are not expressing their full talent. player for player swifts are just as good as saints! granted 7nil was a really bad day lol. the other two have been tight. it would be good for the swifts to stay up to get another crack at it im sure they would do better

We have a great wee side at the Waveney, and a bit of the heart that was knocked out of us there for a few months is back again. Just hope it stays and we can battle our way through the rest of the season! As the legends say in the BSML, "Its not over till the fat bas sings", and the fishster hasnt even warmed up yet, so the swifts will keep er lit!! ;D |
