Beat 7-0
Terrible result against a team who were not 7 goals better than us!
3 goals, definately offside and a deliberate hand ball for the fourth meant Waveney were down 4-0 at the end of the first half.
Two well taken goals and another controversial one in the second meant an awful scoreline for us boys!!
In my opinion the Ref had a nightmare, letting play "go ahead" at one point after we had a player down, even as the other teams management were shouting "Put the ball out!", the defender still played on, whilst the Waveney stopped and their forward run ahead and put the ball in the net! No sportsmanship at all, from the Ref or the opposing team.
We had a few good chances to score throughout the game, but unfortunately just couldnt get the ball in the back of the net!!
Times look bleak at the minute, but things can only get better!!!

Ah your back mate, were have you been all week??
Bad craic that there is playing on when there was a man down, if i was their manager i would have let you's go up and score as well then, that would be the decent thing to do!!
Is big Cecil still there mate or whats the craic there??

We get these boys (112th OB) in the next round, what league do they play in, I can't see them in the Old Boys League or the Amateur League. Any players to watch out for ?

Think they play in the South Antrim League.
They arent a bad side altogether/ Two good forwards and a wee centre midfielder who is good as passing the ball around. TBH, if we had a full squad, and a few decisions had gone our way we couldve got a result!
Just make sure when a player goes down that you dont expect them to kick the ball out in sportsmanship!!!!

Was hearing big cecil had to play sat must be bad times in the Doury Rd worse than i thought although before damaged his spleen he was best centre-half ive ever played with along with big muir of course whose still playing away. Dont know much bout situation at swifts but do know big man will fight to the end for Waveney, serious man. Just hope for his sake and boys that things come good as they deserve sumthing from all the hard work theyve put in. Hope to get to a game soon and lend bit of support but until then wish them all the best for which be a long season it seems. Good luck!

Aye your right mate, played at the Waveney for three years and have to say big Cecil is the heart and soul of that club, he loves everything about it and the people who play for him have nothing but respect as well for the big man!! I surely hope that the Swifts start picking up points very soon to make it a bit easier for the big man, as one thing for sure he will never walk away from the Waveney!!

Big Cecil had to play as we were missing a few players!! Spurgy out with suspension, Jay / Kenny / Shane were working and also due to the fact that we have had a few players who have walked away from the club so early on in the season the squad is not the size it used to be!! The heart is still there though, no matter what size the squad is!

Who all has walked away Gareth since the start of the season mate?? Are you meaning Heff etc joining all saints is it??
Big Cecil must be kicking himself when the likes of Shane, Jay and that have to work all the time, that the heat of his defence beside big Melvin!!
Dont worry im sure results will pick up for ya's no problem at all!!

Big Mel is still carrying a bit of an injury, so we are missing him too! Naw, not talking about Heff and ciaran etc. Skiddy left for Northend at start of the season, wee mcavoy left for carniny afternoon team (i think??), craig logan hasnt been up for a while now, and Big Mel is only coming back from injury!!! We also have really only got Kenny W playing again. As well as urself leaving us Maximillion for the Gaffer role somewhere else!!
