Glencloy Swifts on Sat at home.
Should be a good game between two of the newly promoted sides to the first division this season.

Waveney Swifts 0 - 2 Glencloy Swifts A disappointing result for the Waveney in a game which they had most of the possession, and deserved a draw at the least. Waveney went down 1-0 early in the first half, with their defence not being able to clear a ball, sent through to a young striker for Glencloy who finished very well. The last 20 minutes of the first half was all about the Waveney, but unfortunately they could not get the ball in the back of the net. Second half Waveney came out and again took the game to Glencloy, with the Glencloy keeper pulling off some fantastic saves. Glencloy also had a few missed chances, with Waveney keeper R.Fulton coming the rescue a few times, although he couldnt stop a header going into the top corner mid-way through the 2nd half. Waveney played with a lot of heart and commitment in this game, and have to keep playing like this the rest of the season and try to pick up a few results from now on! Special mention has to go to Jeff Tweed, who on his debut, played an absolute stormer and was definately in the running for man-of-the-match! Fair play also to Glencloy, who took their chances and defended extremely well!(Even though there was a few wee 'trips' along the way ).

Was one of those days for u's just didn't quite click in the final third, although we defended well. Not say much about the ref, as im sure you have the same feelings about him. it got comical in the end up. big big 3 points for us considering we are nowhere near full-strength yet.
abit of luck will come your way, & we look forward to the return game.
