Start of the season tonight for the mighty Swifts!
Havent seen this Randalstown team playing in a few years, but Waveney need a big start to the season to get the confidence up!!

I heard the reds are a really poor side this season way alot of lads leaving from last season!!
Rumour is they might even fold?

Going by the Sky Blues section they seemed to have signed lots of Reds players. Pity, we played them in the Cup last season, were a reasonable side & seemed like a good bunch of lads.

think the reds have lost 9 or 10 of last years team me included, there struggling to recruit at the min, think there in for a difficult season.

Waveney 5 - 0 Randalstown Reds
Brilliant result for the Wavney and a superb start to our campaign in the first division.
Waveney played some great fooball against a good Randalstown team, who posed a threat throughout the game, with some fantastic wingers and forwards.
Two goals from Mcfadden, one from Jay Stevens, Spurgeon and Gareth Logan gave the Swifts a fantastic start to the season. Lets hope it keeps up throughout!!
Holywell at Allen Park ( i think) Thursday night!

Aye M, I playing at Right Back for bout 70 mins, then into Sweeper for rest of the game.
Maybe will have to see if they let me play middle of the park against Penerol like, just so I can get a kick at ya!! haha!

cheers mate. We were right and pleased last night, but we know we have a hell of a lot more to do, so lets just hope its a good sign for the rest of the season!!
