Well done Swifts on promotion to the 1st division. A very tough game against a good Abbeyview side who like to pass the ball around but lacked the cutting edge.
Good luck next season, it will be tough.

Congratulations on promotion tonight lads.
Fully deserved the 3-1 win, and you probably should even have scored more in the 2nd half. Im sure there will be a few sore heads in morning and a few sick days called in!
I was keeping Mr Waveney AKA J Stephens informed in Salou of the latest happenings as Sky Sports werent covering the game for some reason, and he told me that he would also be getting blocked over there on his own to celebrate the promotion!

Good luck next season, it will be tough. Tough for any team going up into 1st division, but from what I hear they have a few good, established 1st division players ready to sign up for next season, so they might be OK. What was the crack with the A'view number 3 losing the plot for the last 15 minutes tonight? Even when you were 2-1 down and chasing the game he was more interested in trying to pick a fight with the Waveney players and argueing with the crowd!!! Got that bad I even heard 1 of his own players screaming at him to calm down! |

What was the crack with the A'view number 3 losing the plot for the last 15 minutes tonight? Not sure, but he was getting fairly stuck in and was very lucky not to be sent off for a very late, high tackle towards the end. I think a couple of Waveney lads had him wound up and he couldn't cope.  |

Was at the game last night and really enjoyed it, good luck in winning the playoffs, you will be starting the new season in the 1st with the same points as all the rest.

I think as a way of celebration you should organise a fun day down at the pitch and have horse rides and all that, should be good craic!! lol...

Think what makes it a bigger achivement is that, except for 2 players, its the same squad that got promoted from last season. Fair play to big Cecil for keeping the movement getting stronger!
