Waveney swifts promoted to the 2nd division after a 2-0 win over templepatrick. Two goals from Colin Corry.
Bad luck to templepatrick as they played well last but not good enough ;D
Looking forward to next season already!!

Congratulations to Waveney!
If I'm not mistake that's the 2nd year in a row the 5th placed team has got promoted. You put in the performance when it mattered though by the looks of things.

As far as i know, we finished 4th, yous were in 5th i think but i could be wrong....

Congratulations boys, a bit gutted given that we took 6 points from our two league games this season and finshed 3rd by quite a margin but just an awful performance on the day it mattered most against templepatrick. That's football i guess.  Best of luck in division two. |

Great to get promoted lads, went throgh a bad wee patch towards the end of the season but thats what hard work gets you on the footie pitch!!!
Bring on Division 2, hopefully we can copy the teams that went up from last year e.g Ballykell and Seven Towers in doing well in the 2nd!!

Not at all Waveney7. I think you's have showed alot of character coming back from the cup final defeat in the manner you have. Alot of people would have let that affect the rest of their season and fallen apart so credit to you's.

Lads, sorry havnt been on to congratulate my team! No net connection at home! Only got it today!
Waveney definately deserved it on the night!! Glad to see it. A good tight bunch of players and a good management team also spurred us on in the end!
Bring on the 2nd!! (And the end of season do!!)
