After bumping into Donko on Saturday at the local Pie shop.. ;D ;D...he let slip that he has a few 'Big names' lined up to sign for the Shore Whores next season. Now when he says big names, i assume he means decent players and not some polish guys with 12 letter surnames Give us more Donko?....is Jimmy Hann making a comeback? ;D

Ha ha, all i can say is watch this space.........cant say too much, and cant compete with Bremners Boot Buying Bonanza if names were to be leaked
Im afraid players of the calibre of Jimmy come along once in a generation mate, so maybe we'll have to lower our ambitions.
I dont know if i could be signing Polish players either, couldnt be arsed getting international clearance for them (not to mention taking an hour to fill out the match card each game)

Castletown left that pitch 2 years ago, the have been playing at Chimney Corner since, although i think they lost that pitch which is 1 of the reasons they have folded. As for ex-castletown players? My lips are sealed.

4 players all ex castletown??, anyway fair play to you for getting them. I heard who they were but in fairness its not my business to go around blabbing their names on here.
Was looking for you to confirm but as you said your lips are sealed so thats that.

4 players? No that i know of, i cant comment on any new signings until i get their signatures, seen to many boys being made to look like fools when boys change their minds

Though i didn't mention their names, i was let down by 5 or 6 players i really expected to sign when i took over the swifts. Goes to show though, you can never take everyones word as gospel. Some say one thing and do another. One of them things

If only players would be honest and say"sorry dont know what im doing yet,il let you know" instead of the usual horse s**t of promising everyone everything and then letting most ,if not all,down.......it only breeds contempt and anomosity......phew rant over...better go lay down

Even then i dont think that would suffice. Managers have a tough enough time just getting players signed wihtout someone giving it the old....im not sure.. All players know that come the middle of june, managers have forms out for their players to sign. Surely a player can make his mind up by then as to what to do........either yes or no....No may not be the answer the manager wants to hear.....but at least he knows one way or the other and doesn't have to spend the next 6 weeks chasing the player.
Heard over the weekend the 'potential' signings Shore could be making.......very impressive if thats the case, if everything goes to plan im sure the Shore Whores will be there or there abouts at the end of the season

Stuarty Conlon - Good player when fit, but has dodgy knees, legs arms, head....lol......but will be a good addition
Tommy Irvine - Good no nonsense centre-half, will run through brick walls if asked, another good sigining.
Johnny Stephenson - Eerrrrmmmmm.....well i thought Shore already had a waterboy!, still doesn't hurt having 2
