A fantastic result for you boys. Many doubted you's after you suffered a few bad results but you have bounced back well and deserve your position at the top of the table. The best side we have played this year by far when you beat us at the forum.

I believe Glencloy fielded a weakened team for this game as 5/6 regular starters had a long trek to Newry that afternoon for a hurling match. ;D ;D

i would not get carried away we still have alot of work to do, its in our hands lads. i think next season will be a very hard one and all about keeping a strong squad together. was a great win the other night and we played well but lets start thinking about tonight another hard game. as for getting beat by a 3rd div team they were the best team on the day and im sure we are not the first team to get beat by a team from the 3rd and we wont be the last.

i dont think roverstillidie plays for glenarm because no one in the team would say that rovers are the best in all div and i think he just winding up.no one in the team would be that full of themselves!i would say hes a demense player from glenarm?

As an independent sheep who observed the game in my neighbouring Stoneyhill Park I must say that the Rovers deserved their victory. The hefty guy up front Black I think was hugely impressive in the first half. His range of passing was superb. In the second half the Swifts missed numerous chances but kept the impressive Black quiet. It is strange how teams are always better "down the slope". Or maybe not so strange. There was a few meaty challenges and Rovers should have had a second penalty but Swifts will rue their missed second half chances and not recalling Fraggle to the starting line up. Over the season and the two derby games, the sheep feels that there is not much between the two rivals but notes that the Rovers may need much fortune to match the achievements of Glencloy in maintaining Division 1 status after the first season. If the Swifties go up their previous Div 1 experience will be useful but in reality their stay may be shortlived.
