I hear on the grape vine that Cocky is set to leave the great wee club to play in the second for Abbeyview. Now why would he want to drop down a division, it wouldn't be a challenge for him, the second is easy blah blah blah.......or maybe its something else.
Mr Qiggley says "So what"......very dismissive

You are in denial Alex, you great wee club is no so great at the moment, no matter what comes out about me trying to attract some of your players, you have a big problem at your club and you need to open your eyes as some of your players are not happy, not happy at all.......even your captain Your def right there Bremner ,not happy at all, as we all should be,because I'm certainly not happy,but it would be more of a worry if we were happy with things ,funny thing is looking at the tables yous are happy with your form even though we are only 6 points worse of than yous in our respective divisions with a game in hand We like any club have no divine right to stay at the top end of the division year after year especially when you lose players of the quality of Dowie to yourselves ,Waddell, Neill, Mott, to Moyola, Randel to Ballymena and if Cocky goes to Abbeyview who wouldn't suffer losing players of that quality and it has to have a effect on form ,but the players that remain are still top quality and if we can add a few more in to join them hopefully it wont be too long till we start moving forward again |

Losing such "quality" players to higher level clubs must make you feel proud Alex. After all they have moved on to better things.

Maybe they don't like the colour of their tracksuits......or the low numbers at training......or the no social scene........or the managers team talks...  ... or they just fancy a change. |

How longs a piece of string Chris ,we welcome the challenge and will try to stay the top team in the town, which I think by finishing in the top third of division 1 year in year out we can claim, we would like to remain there for as long as we can, but we have no devine right to stay there and its a challenge for yous and the Reds to try to equal or better and maybe even win the title which although we have lifted numerous cups and got to the semifinals of the junior cup twice as well as runners up in the league on more than 1 occasion ,we have never managed to win it ,all this has been done over a period of years and has required us to rebuild the team about 3 times in my reign as manager , so nothing happens overnight and thing can change , sure if you believe the rumors about the town ,we might not be playing morning football much longer |
