Following years of chasing and losing balls to the Braid River Ballykeel f.c. are delighted to announce that they will be moving to their new pitch shortly. That will answer anyones questions on why we are starting the season off with so many away games in the league.
The new pitch which is situated directly behind the community centre and beside the primary school should be up and running in September sometime (exact date to be confirmed). This pitch has been fenced off and will be one if not the best pitches in the Ballymena Saturday Morning League. Adjacent to it is a fenced off 5-aside football area which is floodlit and will be used for training purposes. Along with the superb changing rooms up at Ballykeel we have undoubtedly one of the best facilites in the league, just need a team now to go with it before any smart arses on here says it.
Ballykeel f.c. looks forward to welcoming every team to their new pitch in the near future and of course to getting a good stuffing while your there. ;D

Seen the new pitch today unfortunetely it wasnt ready for our game and think the keel lads said it wil be another couple of weeks. Must say it looks immaculate and will prob be the best pitch in the league if well maintained.

by all accounts its still going to be a couple of weeks but if and when we are told we can play on it ill let the forum know.
was a great result against the view on saturday considering on their day they are the fittest and best team in our division, but a result which we thouroughly derserved.
top of the league, still a long way to go tho.
