Ballykeel f.c. 1 - 0 Riverdale
A short report here.
Thoroughly deserved win for the Keel last night against a very strong Riverdale team who battled right to the death. Our mangager rang the changes before the start of the game changing three boys from the starting line up from the final sham bolics and dropping a couple more altogether from the squad. Justin Rowe and myself got a starting role and will now be hoping for a place in the final against Connor. Rusty was on the bench due to a heavy cold but came on late on just to ruffle up the Dale defence a bit. Only goal of the game came with five minutes remaining when Ronald Balmer found Steven McKay unmarked in the box to slide home the winner.
Looking forward to the Connor game now on Tuesday in what should be another tough match.

Doc a season that has fell apart for the Keel .Hope yous get the heads up for next season and show everbody how go yous are cheers mate, but i cant see that happening with a manager who plays four players out of position in the biggest game in our history. The players on show last night let the team down and should be ashamed of themselves simple as that.

doc i think thats very harsh, i was at the game last night yes i agree that some of your players were out of sorts but not all of them, i think you cannot take it away from connor rangers they played well and deserved the win. jamie whites first goal was a screamer one that any player would have been proud of. you are a good side and you know you can pick it up for next season your are lucky you have a handfull of very good young players who have served you well this season, good luck for next season enjoy the rest in the summer break,

doc i was surprised at the result,at one stage you's were clear favourites to win the league. some good players at keel and if you's keep them all you's be favourites next year. keep the heads up lads.
