Massereene Swifts travel to division 3 winners, Glenarm Rovers on Saturday, looking for their first win of the campaign.
Glenarm, who lost only 1 game last season have started this season well, and will be a tough test for Massereene, who have collected only 1 point.
Still, the spirit in the Massereene camp is good, and we will be heading down to Larne to give a good account of ourselves

Cheers Justice  We are all very disappointed with the start to the season we have made, none more than myself. Despite this start, I still feel confident that we will do okay. The encouragement we and I have received from both players and teams alike, has been inspiring. I and my players know we have a huge task in front of us, but we are by no means ready to roll over. It was good to see a great turn out last night, with everyone working very hard. I look forward to seeing those attitudes on the pitch this saturday. Come On The Swifts! |

Glenarm are the best side we have played so far this season.
With a decent team out (on paper) I expected more from us.
Too many players hiding on the pitch.
The scoreline, embarrasing.
I'm feeling the pressure, and I know my players are disappointed. We'll continue to plug away though, undeterred.

True mate, and that was with a side that I wouldn't say was strong, and a couple of players playing with injuries.
We just have no belief at the minute, and the scorelines show it.
We're workin on it, and hopefully we'll turn the corner soon.
Numbers have been great at training, and the effort is there, so sometimes I'm puzzled at performances put in.

Hey Bunghole........McAuley Cup Winner last year and Player of the Year..i've got plenty to shout about. ;D BTW........most goals ever conceded in the league so far by Massereene......see things haven't changed.......and im not even there |

I would be his biggest critic so it had absolutely nothing to do with me being his brother. Plus don't think any of the players queried my decision as they knew how good he was all season since I became manager. |

Obviously I did something 'on the field' as you put it. Our POTY was picked by the referees after each game, so I reakon that speaks for itself |

ALL the players queried it, but we didnt kick up a fuss as we had just seen Big Davy swallow Robin Neill whole. He didnt get a roll with his soup so he just grabbed the nearest small person ;D ;D ;D. In my opinion it was a hard one to call but i would agree with the gaffer in saying that Davy was one of the most consistant players all season. Thought Hutchy might have got it but he got enough bloody trophies that night anyway!
