Another home tie for us this week, with Braid United visiting.
Plus points are the addition of Drew Miller, who returns from injury, Karl Yates, who returns to the club after a spell out, and Wes Allen, who returns from sleeping in last week ;D
Braid have had a useful side now for a few seasons. Have already played against them for Templepatrick, in a cup game last season, so we're not expecting an easy game.
I have to hold my hands up for last weeks result, as I tried something different, which didn't work
We'll see whats on the cards for us tomorrow

Who's deleting posts!!!
Anyway, Braid have a useful midfiled an 8 foot 4 centre half and a forward line that will work you's. You's will do well to get points from this game.

Some very good performances on saturday. Rab was super before getting himself sent off.
Johnny Thompson was good, his goal was a screamer! Drew Miller worked extremely hard, and Moore was good at the back. Tommy Irvine was solid, as was Karl in his first game.
Winnie ward was obviously enjoying the left wing role, as he played super. And was devastated to have to drop back into centre half ;D
Snipes did well down the right. First half was excellant giving their left back a torid time!
Jay Hemphill was super at left back missing nothing, and also getting forward.
Like I said to the lads after the game, we dont seem to be having any luck, and thats because we're depending on it. When we score a goal, we sit back and hope thats enough. Instead of blasting on and getting another and another.
We'll get the luck, when we stop looking for it!
Goal scorers:-
Jonny Thompson Ally Cupples Jonny Stevenson
Man Of The Match:-
Drew Miller

Bit confused by your summary........according to you your back 4 were solid / superb.......................but you conceded 4 goals?

Very surprised at your comment catgirl, always picking holes. Concentrate on your own game, it needs it more I was happy with my players performances. We should have won the game. Then again, its not the first time we've deserved something and got nothing

The first win seems to be getting closer. Keep believing. Saturday will be a very difficult trip indeed. we were very fortuneate to come away with three points. beware of there trickey right winger, he only plays first half though lol garlic commitments take him out of the game

As for my game.......how would you know what i need to concentrate on.....had sod all to do playing against you lot ;D

Your right though about conceeding goals. We give too many cheap goals away, from silly mistakes. In saying that we have been improving all over the pitch.
It was always going to take time for a new bunch of lads to settle in and play well together. And it will take a lot longer yet.
Consistant improvement is what I want to see from all my players, and I'm happy that thats happening.
Training is good, attandance is good and effort is 100%. We just seem to stop in games when we should be pushing for more goals. Then again, we are very inexperienced, especially compared with some sides we have played this season. Results proving that.
Some of my players are playing their first season in a team, and to be honest they haven't looked out of place in games against some very good players.
We'll keep plugging away, regardless of insults and comments of criticism. We know there is a long way to go. I dont need anyone to tell me that.
