Connor Rangers 5-4 Riverdale
Well done tonight Lads. For the Supporters they couldn't ask for a better game as Connor came out 5-4 winners. Rangers raced into a 2-0 lead in the first 25mins. It started off with a sweat strike from Sammy McVicker which went in off the post and shortly after the same player was brought down in the box and the Penalty was calmly put away bye Sammy Steele. Riverdale pulled one back about 5mins later with a screamer of a strike from around 25yrds out.
The 2nd period saw Rangers continuing from the 1st Half as well worked goals from Eddie Reid and Chrissy Clail put them into a comfortable 4-1 lead. As like games b4 when Rangers are comfortabley winning they switch off, well it paid tonite as Riverdale hit back to 4-4 within about 15mins. The ref told our sideline there was 3mins left and just as he told us that young Chrissy Clail hit a very good left shot which shot into the bottom corner and give Rangers the 5-4 win plus 3 vital points.
