Yous were fully aware that Dowie had signed for us ,but how you got him to make a sudden change of mind will no doubt become more clear in the coming days ,as for us signing the above mentioned players they were either tranfered to us or signed out of season and had not signed for yous, so nothing wrong there , if the rumours I here are true and repeat rumours how you got him to make a sudden change of mind and can be proved, your in deep s--t Alex, for everyones record, I phoned you today and explained the situation. I was honest and truthful and I had the blessing from Chris Dowie to do that. So you can stick your rumours up your arse. Its amateur football FFS, so just get over it. |

Things have really moved on sinse yesterday. for me Alex, you have been made out to be a real cock. something I already knew you were. great wee club, not so f**king great now. hav to give it to the mouth piece bremner for pulling it of but all the rumours were true and you failed to accept it alex. egg on your face, egg on your face ha ha ha egg on your face. your great wee club is an embarrassment when a second division team steals your best player.
think somewhere in all this is the truth but somehow dont think either manager can lie straight in their beds. 1 - 0 to bremner though.

This particular move by bremner comes as no suprise to alot of people , everyone knows he is a dirty low down rat , and to even try and make out that he and athletic have done everything to the book and nothing underhand took place just goes to show what kind of a sad outfit they are. Shame on bremner , athletic and most importantly dowie who has let himself down badly in all of this . Hope you have a s**t season the whole three of you!

We word of advice there mate dont go to sore on Bremner and Athletic because they have the powers to put you of this forum if they get it to tight ,or even lock this thread would be another one of ther moves , but nice to know I have someone on my side ,they will no doubt check out your IP address ,just hope its as tight as Moorso because he can say what he likes ???wonder why that should be lol! |

I'm very disappointed that Chris has decided to go as he is a quality player and he will undoubtedly be missed, no doubt the whys and the where's will come out in time. Its his choice and if he doesn't want to be with us he can't be forced into it but we have to move on and find a replacement for him. I know we have a couple players who fit the bill so lets now go and do our utmost to get them on board......remember no one is bigger than the team !!!!

as far as im concerned, its about time dowie went. he's been f**king about for a couple of years now....a lot of the side are fed up with probably the most talented player we had going in strops everytime he doesnt get the ball....not the player i used to know when he played in my youth team!
After seeing an untasteful video from a drunken dowie last night itll only move the sky blues on...as i have said before hard work is the answer to success and thats what we will see from blues next year...no rants, raves or strops. we will have quality (as ever) next year and i honestly dont think his absence is a big deal. come games against carniny when we need goals he hasnt produced.
He is a great friend of mine and he knows as well as i do i have the balls to say what i feel to his face..unlike some on these forums..
perhaps he was in the bar spending his 'hard earned' cash....it seems to me quite a few of athletic's members like to spend their money on the beer

just a few comments i would like to make on the subject of chris returning to athletic. i would first of all like to welcome him home, and congratulate bremner on what is a fantastic coup for our club. there has been a lot of speculation and rumour mongering on these forums about why chris decided to come back to us, and the way bremner went about bringing him home. bremner's job at our club is to bring success on the field, which so far he has done fantastically well in such a short space of time ;D. we are an ambitious club, and have big plans both on the pitch and off it. to be successful you need quality players at the club and and by bringing chris on board i hope is only the start of what we hope will be a very exciting season.
i can understand from personal experience how alex and the sky blue players feel at the moment losing, for me the best striker in the league. we were in the same position a few years ago when he made the journey in the opposite direction. we didn't like it, but had to accept that was the players wish at the time. i can also remember a lot of rumours at that time about underhand dealings. we signed the transfer for you then alex i hope you will do the same now or disregard the form chris signed for you.

i think you will find eddie there are quite a few more people in your team who throw strops other than dowie who aren't fit to lace his boots. we love spending our hard earned cash on the beer ;D the way a lot of the sky blues players like spending theirs in the hairdressers or the tanning salon ;D

i agree he probably was the best striker in the league james...well mayb slightly behinf brett mclaughlin at the time but not any more. He has the ability to be and has the most natural talent. but look at gary bonnes over 40 goals in the league alone this year...best striker in the league easy at the minute
best of luck to chris at athletic but at the minute i dont feel it was the right move.If he doesnt keep himself sharp and keep off the drink he could let himself go badly down hill...hope he doesnt ..great talent. Time to get the running gutties on and work your balls off as he wont have to try in the 2nd div to be the best

i agree eddie, great talent, with all that has gone on and been said around the town about chris coming to us, he is determined to prove to a lot of people he still is the best striker in the league. and gary bonnes is super player and a good friend of randalstown athletic, when we get promoted who knows where he will be playing after that |

Certainly agree with the comments about chris dowies ability , he does not have to prove himself to anyone , but you do have to question his motives for wanting to step down to a side who are anything but good. It is hardly a step forward for the lad .  |

As per usual, when the mighty Sky Blues are under a little pressure all hell breaks loose and everyone over reacts. A few things I would like to point out. Firstly, I would like to retract an earlier statement about a Gentleman's agreement with Alex and Dowie which was incorrect. Secondly, trying to discredit Randalstown Athletic with silly childish rumours and remarks only makes it look that they are said to cover up envy. It is not for me to say why Chris Dowie does not want to play for the Blues and wants to play for Athletic...... just ask him yourselves, he will tell you. Thirdly, I would like to commend both Big Chay and young Bruce for their mature comments......total respect guys. And Eddie, you may have hit the nail on the head with your comments. Maybe there was an underlying problem with him not playing well........... maybe HE wasn't happy playing for the Blues. And finally. As a so called moderator of this site, I don't think that the line has been crossed by any of the members and the comments made. Each one is as bad as the other but not that bad. If anyone is offended by any of the comment, they can pm Pav who will look at the remarks that offend. And for the record its against the rules of the site to have two registrations going at the same time.......you get that gerraldo1/bastian. Delete one of your names or I will do it for you. And I do know who you are and you are making a complete arse of yourself considering what club you are affiliated to . I wont embarrass you by naming you. As for Moorso, I have no clue who he is and has only one IP address to his name that matches no other.....clever, but I do think its an alias and he will let his mask slip at some point, but I can assure you its no one from Athletic. |

i say let all this lie and nothing else to be said bout it. if he wants to go to athletic let him be after all its only saturday morning league so u should not just play for a team cause they might be better u should play were u are happy. So i say good luck to dowie and athletic for the forthcoming season and i could maybe see a record number of goals scored next season in the 2nd division.
I think it might of been the eyes that done the persuasion cause i have seen them and they r hard to resist.
ps. for anyone, espacially moorso, who might misread that i didnt mean he tried to sign me.
