The Cat I,ll be curtious in my reply to your post We,ve shown respect to every team we,ve played this year, even when we have beaten them 6,7,or 8! we,ve never been disrecpectfull towards them and I,m not going to start now. As for the rabble you mentioned, their are quite a few who would be coveted by a lot of 1st Div. teams. I,d like to wish Masserene all the best for next season in the 1st Div.
P.S Maybe if we get through our cup ties you will have a chance to beat the rabble...................

That is that Castletown will again be the only team outside Ballymena capable of winning the league .And players joining Castletown know this. You make a very confident statement spectator. I have watched both FC Enkalon and Randalstown Sky Blues (both outside Ballymena) this year and to be quite frank, your current team would not beat either side. Now I dont know what players you are planning to sign but I would say that both teams wont be very far away next year. Sky Blues have a very young side and are improving by the week. I would say that both teams will finish above Castletown. I am delighted to see Castletown back in the first division were they belong (already have stated this) but you being cocky and over confident can be seen as just pure arrogance. Best of luck for the coming season.

Two left feet yes I go to all Castletowns matches home and away you will hear me shouting from the sidelines.
As for who we have in the pipeline next year I am not prepared to divulge that information those people that are in the pipeline will already know and nobody else needs to know.
The Cat as for your comment about the "rabble" that play for Castletown well then we do need to make some chages but I would say that we dont have a player signed that wouldnt last in the first division, maybe not all for 90 minutes every game but every player we have at our club will be a useful asset next year we just need to add to our current squad.
Good luck to massereene in league and cup.

Both Champion and Spectator have defended their club well like any player should.....however both of you seem to miss the point i was making.....you seem to think that you will be the only side outside of Antrim to do anything. In my humble opinion you are both being very short sighted.
As Bremner has mentioned both the Sky Blues and FC Enkalon will be there or there abouts.
Spectator... you say that every player you have is good enough for the first division then go on to say none of them would last 90 minutes!!!!! Surely this is totallly contracting yourself.
My point in short is this.....yes you have walked the 2nd division (Congrats again on this) however you are either very short sighted or plain arrogant to think you will be the only team in outside of Ballymena to do anything.
Roll on the cup final!

Ok, I went to watch Castletown v Abbeyview tonight in the cup. Castletown came away 3-1 winners. To be honest I only saw the second half but what i did see was not a team that will challenge for a top four place next year. The Sky Blues and Enkalon are better teams at present so Castletown will need to sign four or five good players. Paul Lavery was commanding in defence tonight, Derek Quinn worked really hard and is a handfull, the wee guy playing left midfiled also worked very hard and looked a decent player. Willie "Beetlejuice" Brown scored a good goal, but that was the only shot Castletown had in the second half. God Willie looks like Beetlejuice so dont say it three times when you are watching him, well...... its ok cause he couldnt get any uglier. Flea breathed out and was caught offside. Remember flea, be like me and try and hold the belly in. ;D Sorry Spectator and Champion, a lot of hard work yet to do before you are a force next year. Please prove me wrong. Oh and by the way, the language tonight was fine.... you guys are learning. And as for Abbeyview, unlucky in the second half but when you are 3-1 down they bring on a left back and its was for about 1 min..... he didnt even touch the ball...... ring any bells Weeman ;D ;D ;D Sprint your for a tenner along the side line ;D ;D ;D

Was at our match tonight with Abbeyview and have to admit we were bad but a lot of credit must go to the view they put us under a lot of pressure in the second half once we went down to 10 men. Great goal by Browner our and a great display from Loafy.
Now we play Cullybackey next Wednesday night in the semi-final.

Hi Bremner, Cant comment on last nights match, could,nt make it. Its nice to hear you being complimentary towards some of our players.I,m sure they will be pleased with that. On the signings situation, there will definitly be 4/5 new signings next year.We will probibly need 2 central defenders now if Paul lavery retires at the end of the season.I know Armie and the players are trying to change his mind,I think he can go for another year.As for our other central defender. I heard he could have no complaints about his sending off last night and that sums him up..... I,d just like to wish Abbyview all the best in the play-offs Good luck........

Should be a good game alright - seems fitting that the top 2 teams in the league will play in the final. Would think that the league should agree to this match being played in Antrim somewhere - less travelling for our 2 supporters! Maybe Chimney Corners first pitch or even Greenmount?

With this being a cup final....league form goes out the window.........hearda rumour that Castletown wanted this fixture changed to a Friday nite so they can celebrate their win!!!!!!!!!
There is a fine line between over confidence and arrogance......be very wary.

Cat we did apparently want it switched to friday night but it wasnt for celebrating purposes we arent that cocky to think that you boys are going to be a walkover we all know its going to be a hard fought game and probably a close game after all it is first against second.

Yeah - well done lads - thought we gave u a good game though - didnt take our chances and maybe a lack of experience at times didnt help us. Hopefully we can get the win we need on sat to get promoted. Well done again.

There is a fine line between over confidence and arrogance......be very wary. Heard this was the other way around, that it was massereene who wanted the fixture changed so they could celebrate on saturday all day if they get promoted. Pity isn't it, now they will have plenty of time to drown their sorrows.

Hope Beckett is making at least 10 signings....cos other than loafy in goal you dont have a 1st division player amongst the rest of the rabble. Would be interesting to see if you are eating your words at the end of next season if you recko0n you are the only Antrim team challenging for top spot. By the look of you in goals tonight you seem to have done quite a bit of "eating" and by the look of you its not words you ate - "who ate all the pies" comes to mind. As for massereene, saw them tonight for the first time and they definitely need to sign at least 11 players if they are going to survive in the premier division. Maybe they should try to sign Loafy as you are crap Cat.

Thank you for those words of wisdom Rastusetal.......let me clear a few things up for you though......... Masserene were not looking this fixture switched as we wanted a game on Satuday to secure the 3 points we need to go up. Secondly my ability as a goalkepper has no relevance to you or Castletown only to my teammate and the manager.......although would love to see Loafy sign for us as i would be the first to admit....and have stated in other threads that he's one of the best keepers around. Have also stated that we do need several players if we want to hold our own in the 1st division, somthing we have already started doing. And lastly and by no means least......im only so fat cos everytime i shagged your ma she gimme a biscuit.....thats a whole lot of biscuits... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
