For everyones information, Alex Rainey was presented a merit award from the Ballymena Saturday Morning League for his contribution to local football and his long term commitment to Randalstown Sky Blues.
Can I be the first on this website to congratulate Alex and on behalf of Randalstown Athletic would like to commend Alex for excellent service over 20 years with the same team. This is very unique and at last has been recognised with the league.
Well done Alex, really really pleased for you and well deserved.
Good craic at the dinner.... thats the way it should be ;D

Good craic at the dinner.... thats the way it should be ;D Cheers Bremner it was a complete surprise to me and to quote a famous phrase I thought there was more chance of pigs flying out my ar-e ;DI am totally honored to have got it I have been with our great we club without giving my age away :-X32 years and we've had our up & downs like any club has, but I totally have enjoyed my time at the club I agree it was a good nights craic and good to meet and have a bit of banter and good to meet Baldrick and Steve for the first time .Thank again for your kind words  |

Cheers for that Winona2006 ,there were the odd offers along the way, and at one time I played in the morning and then in the afternoon , but that was the limit of my standard . Hope your having a great time out there in Germany ,and with a few beer in you and maybe a weak moment, you could send Paul , (who now is the deserved holder of our great wee clubs clubman of the year award and cup) ;D a post card with well done on it ;D |
