Tough one Elnino, been at Abbeyview now for bout 5 years and seen some crackin players. Some Abbeyview legends, Scobie, 'Shinner Smyth' Kipper, Gazzy, Aggy, Victor(Glentoran caant lol) as well as the players you have already mentioned there mac crow n midgy!! All have been a joy to play with. Have to mention Jim or I wont be playin on Sat lol Some of the current players deserve a mention to, Scotty, Rab, Robbo, Davy Mc, n Cocky. All have been great for Abbeyview. We also have some of the best young players in the league, Ryan Carson has more ability than anyone iv seen at Abbeyview and stil improving. Wee browner, Alan Donnelly, Jackie T and others I could go on. Its impossible to chose one player from a list that is endless...

Alan McCausland, Stephen Dean, Clifford Taylor, Michael Short, Victor Gibson, Rab McCall, Gary McCaig, Stevie Cunningham, Johnny Fields(when interested), Andy Robinson, Jim Gallagher & Graham Mitchell all excellent players from the old school....
Alan Cochrane heads the field by a mile for the younger lads at the minute, would get on any team in the BSML and some, followed by the potential of... Scott Magee, Alan Donnelly, Jackie Todd and Ryan Carson.
Tops for me is Vic, could have held his own in any league in this country.

Haha, thanks mate, just thought I would leave others to judge that. Have done alright for the 'wee loyal' over the years, and yes, had the best part of 2 cracking seasons (including silverware) over at the Sky Blues, looked after me well and a pleasure to have pulled on that (usually no.10) jersey, McKittrick I think took the no.9 home with him every week... Hehe.

Will do quigs mate, he still gets down every year to the Milk Cup, he loves it, you know what he's like.
He's still in touch with Davy Naismith he met 6 years ago, met him at his b&b, Davy was over for the week watching has son play for the Killie U14/U16 team, and they attended most of the games together. Young Steven, by the way, as I'm sure you'll know, made Killie first team at 17, and a dream last minute January transfer window move to Rangers this year.

Dont worry el nino appreciate the effort ;D Weemans just hufin cuz i never mentioned him beside the greats ;D to be honest I didn't expect to get a mention as I was only there for a couple of seasons. Have to agree with gee, Kipper was a solid left back and was with the club for years.

Chris (Oul Han), at least you must be in with a shout with the 'oldest player to have played for the view' category! Must be close between you and Jake Burrows, haha..

Uve left your selt out there stevie lad.....the Sky Blues still tawk fondly of you mate....your a great player and smashing lad....you would be in my no.9 shirt Yes the old hands still talk about Stevie, great up front with McKitt and a pleasure to play with. Plus 2 major cups in 2 seasons not a bad return, was sorry to see him leave a that time. He'd def be in the best player catergory, plus could play a bit at the back.
