You lads certainly are favourites. We havnt had a game for a while and our training has be cancelled alot due to the weather and council. Our fitness might not be the greatest. Not really the best time for us to be playing one of the league favourites. But we`ll give it a go. Will be good to get playing on a decent pitch too.

What I find funny about this subject (Mower actually playing) is that Mower is somewhat subdued in his responses....not normal, hes normally a mouthy git, but I think even Mower knows hes crap at football, so he has no defense.. ;D ;D

Abbeyview 3-0 St Comgalls Terrible conditions meant that the game was always going to be difficult. With a strong wind behind us in the first half we looked to control the game. Not a lot of chances in the early stages but the game came to life when Stephen Nichol reacted quickly to finnish nicely for the opener. To their credit Saints battled back and had a few chances to equalise before half time. However, after a spillage by the Saints goalkeeper, Jackie Todd reacted quickest to pull the ball back to Rab Murdoch to tap into the open net for 2-0. The second half saw Abbeyview pegged back for long spells but St Comgalls struggled to create any chances of note. Substitute Derek Thomas broke clear and with the keeper beat he was desperatly unlucky to see his effort stop in a puddle on the line. Abbeyview seasled the win from the spot after Jackie Todd was hauled down in the box. Rab Murdoch stepped up and slotted home. Captain Rab Murdoch had a great chance to complete his hat trick but he too saw his effort stop in the puddle after he had rounded the keeper. Mower didnt even wait til the end to shake hands but we'l put that down to the cold weather Got chattin to a few of the saints players after the game, good to see they arent all slabbers

PS did you touch the ball before you got subbed yip sure i should have scored when you did a fruity wee clearance with your fist from a corner but i hit your last defender. sure i marked jackie out of the game till he was moved to centre mid. was a shocking day, the match should never have been played. i think we had as many chances as you only we couldnt score were as you did, and hadnt it been for the mud pool at the goal on at top end of the pitch holding up the ball on the line you lads would have won 5.

Yes i agree that conditions where bad but you must agree apart from a puddle in the goalmouth the pitch was in great nick ps i was in the changing room when you came in good to see a bit of sportsmanship.

Yea conditions were terrible but the picth was definitely playable, with both teams there it would have been a shame if it had been called off. Was a battle and we were just glad to pick up the three points.
You had a great chance at 0-0 when your player came rushing in at the back post from a free kick.
