Yet again no ref for this game so another friendly was played. Very frustrating, especially as Sandy was standing on the touchline at the forum watching the Moylena game.....argghhhh!! Surely it couldn't be that hard if there was no referee for the league to inform the two teams the night before and let them sort out whether or not they want to play and stop wasting time and petrol traveling to games for no reason.

This has to be looked at. Glenarm came to us on saturday. We had a very weak team with only 11 available, and with no ref there we decided not to play.
I apologised to Glenarm who were very decent about it. Thing is though, it could all have been avoided.
Monty always says, its our league, and we make the rules, so at the AGM one needs to read:-
- When there has been no ref allocated to a game, the 2 teams in question must be informed the night before, leaving them to decide if the fixture should go ahead, prior to travelling
FFS!

But you can't really know the night before if the pitch is going to be too hard or not for you to get it called off puggs!!! lol ....
