Well wot can i say about this match. We went down 1-0 in the first few seconds of the game. But we battled and battled during this match and it was 3-2 at the break. The second half begun and we came out all guns blazing by shooting into a 5-2 and then yet again as u know we slacked off and though the game was over and they pulled to back in quick sucession. Then they scored again to draw and make it 5-5. Unbelievable after cruising. Then there hunger and determination grabbed them the winner and they beat us six one and abbeyviews ship is sinking.lets hop we can get keep our heads up and look forward to the next match.
Goals came from Jim G (2) and Andy R (3)

This sounds like an absolute cracker of a game for the neutral! 5-2 up to lose 6-5 at the end?! How could this happen? Astounding result!

Whats happening with the Wee View this season?? Doesn't look very good.

Your right...it doesn't look good. We are not consistent enough yet play good passing football for short periods of time. To many school boy errors that is costing us points.
Think everyone including the Manager needs to think a bit differently so as to start winning games.
Its still early in the season however.

Whats happening with the Wee View this season?? Doesn't look very good. Abbeyview needs a strong centre-half who will take control and put his foot through the ball when it is needed Too many quite players

Is one person going to really make so big a difference??? I agree that a centre half is required but is that the cure to all our problems

Post by Jeff on Sept 20, 2005 12:34:33 GMT
not the cure but some1 to talk 2 the backline and put the foot thru the ball would be a great start. lots of potential in the back 4 but lackin loud CB to take charge! wi scobie in nets there is much more talkin still need a loud CB tho. problem is players are not exactly queing up to sign for us are they?

Is one person going to really make so big a difference??? I agree that a centre half is required but is that the cure to all our problems I think it is. Nice football being played (in spells)all over the pitch, I think we lack the confidence to win at the minute and a strong no nonsense man at the back would go along way to remedying that

Could Weeman not play centre back?
|
|
|
Post by Sammy T on Sept 21, 2005 22:32:24 GMT
he can play centre to back but they need him at left back.

Post by Weeman on Sept 22, 2005 11:53:53 GMT
Could Weeman not play centre back? I have played it a couple of times this season but its trying to find the correct 2 people to play it. The way we are currently playing, we end up leaving the 2 at the back to man mark leaving the left and right back free.....which does not exactly suit. ;D

you shud be left wing as you shown your potential in saturdays game by scoring and it was disallowed. Maybe if the gaffer plays you there u could be the key figure for the season ;D
