The 'View' host Braid this weekend hoping to bounce back from last weeks dissappointing result. We are going to have to start this game better than we have the last 2 games, as every player knew last week at half time that we all just did not perform to our capabilities at all. A 3-3 draw in December away to Braid was a decent result considering they had half of Raceview playing for them that morning as their game was called off during the week, and I'm sure we can get our heads right from the start of the game and put in a good performance and take the 3 points.

Yeah Stevie, I watched that game in December, and wondered what was up with Braid, as they didn't really play too well against us. We should have beat them.
When yous played them with the team yous had out, I was expecting yous to win easily. So was surprised at the battling performance they put in.

Ally, to be honest mate, we ALWAYS struggle up in Broughshane against Braid, in fact they drubbed us 7-0 up there last season, and to come away 3-3 in December was an improvement, but still, as you say mate - with the team we had out that day we should have done better, and we seem to have a problem on heavy, wet and generally bad pitches such as Braid's was that morning.
We are no BSML equivalent of Arsenal or anything (lets keep it real), but we knock the ball about as best we can and always play it out from the back line, but mostly this happens at home on the excellent pitch 2/3 we play on and we travel somewhere to a pitch such as Braid, Clough, even Wakehurst last Saturday and dont get things going at all!!!
To win the league/get promoted, teams have to go to these places and dig out a result - ugly or not - and I think thats where we have slipped up in a few games this season.

Official Match Postponed - No referee.
Friendly Result
Abbeyview 6 Braid Utd 1
Goals from Rab Murdoch (2), Stevie Smith, Steeks Brown and Alan Donnelly (2).
Think the scoreline would have been much the same even with an official ref, but fair play to Braid for playing the game.
