A cracking contest in store this weekend with the visit of high flying Waveney to the Forum. Dont know too much about the Swifts side this season but they have pulled some excellent results in league and cup. This is one of the very many 6 pointers that the top six sides will meet in this season and a win for the 'View' has to be achieved to keep promotion hopes strong.
Very tough game for both sides and something has to give this weekend, but we are very confident we can get the right result and our attacking style of play will see us create chances that will need to be taken against decent opposition.

Abbeyview lost this rearranged game by one goal to nil. A very tight affair in were we probably deserved at least a point but thats football. First half was a close call with Waveney leading 1-0 at the half. The second half saw Abbeyview throw everything at Waveney, but in truth, apart from having a stonewall pen turned down we created very little. Credit to Waveney for holding out and good luck to them for the rest of the season!!

Jeff, not like you's not to score goals. Who was up front (not that I am saying it was all down to them. )

Rab and Giff started up front then i think Andy pushed on in the second half he started in Centre midfield. Was a tough game and to be fair on the strikers we didnt create a lot despite the possession we had!

Really surprised with Waveney this season. They have had some smashing results, none more surprising than this one.

I have to say that even though Waveney beat us deservingly a couple of weeks ago, I personally dont think they are that great. Dont get me wrong they are not a bad team but when you look at the run in they have, they have to play all the top teams at least once and Gleanarm twice.......then we will see how good they are. I too though the View would get something out of this game.
