Abbeyview will be looking to complete a league double over Swifts on Saturday morning. On current league form this looks to be a home banker but as we well know, it doesnt always go as planned. Lisnafillan are second bottom of the table and need to start picking up points and I'm sure they will be well up for the game too, so we will have to not let them settle and hopefully grab an early goal or two and take maximum points to sustain our league position.
Should have a full squad for selection bar Andy Robinson (Ankle Ligaments).

Abbeyview 1 Lisnafillan Swifts 0
Despite the heavy rain during the week, this game went ahead on a near perfect pitch at the Forum. Not many chances were created by either side in the opening exchanges and with both defences on top, the only attempts at goal were restricted to long range efforts that were easily dealt with by both keepers.
A congested midfield saw little flowing football being played until after 25 mins a great move involving Jackie Todd and Graham Mitchell playing a neat one-two before releasing a through pass to Alan Gifford who outpaced the Swifts defence and slotted home from 15 yards. Shortly after, Gifford was put through by a Stevie Smith clearance but was unlucky to see his shot come of the post before being cleared off the line by a Swifts defender.
Abbeyview then finished the rest of the first half on top without adding to their lead.
Second half seen few chances although Swifts hit the bar from an excellent free-kick and Abbeyview not being able to capitalise on the Swifts stretched back-line and the score remained 1-0 to the end.
