A new season is almost upon us and the future looks bright. i have a feeling this will be a season of transition but we may just surprise a few people. A very young squad is being put together and after a good win today against upperlands i am looking forward to the new season with cautious optimism. brief summary of inns and outs during the pre seson. Outs we have lost a few experiances players, just lost weeman davy mcwilliams wont play for a while and long serving captain jim has retired - well for now anyway. we have also shed a bit of dead weight in wes allen only jokin mate wish you and chris well at new clubs. on a brighter note we welcome back a number of players.. rab murdough has returned with chris perks while a number of key players still to come back stevie smith and colin bell. also added to the squad are milligan and glen and young steven brown all under 20. the average age of the team that started against upperlands today must have been about 21 - very encouraging. Chris Foster has also signed and another left sided/attacking player is about to sign and will be named soon, again only 21 so the future looks good. Big kick off on fri nite and unfortunetely i will miss this one. however looking forward to trying to win back my shirt and enjoying the season ahead. Onwards and upwards....

Well done yesterday lads, great result. This young team we are putting together could do very well this season. Looking forward to the year ahead and if we can get off to a winning start unlike last season, I'm sure we can at least make the play-offs. A big future lies ahead for this wee team. Go on the 'Wee Loyal View'.

Guys, i'd like to wish you all the best for the coming season. I'll miss the craic.
There's no reason why a play off place is the minimum expectancy this year. Some good signings with miligan and Glenn at the back along with Andy T returning. Rab also up front will help.
Lets hope you's can improve on that away form for this year and also remember that you's are unbeaten in the league at home since last August. ;D
