Our last league game of the season. Can we end it with a win and sneak a playoff place? ;D

I'm pretty sure we can end the league campaign with a win against Clough, but I think the play-offs are just out of our reach with 35 points. I think 38/39 points would probably get a place, which makes getting robbed by the referee at Galgorm even harder to take!! Ah well, still two cups to play for, so the season could hold some success for us after all.

As no ref turned up for our game against steadfast a few of us went on a scouting mission on saturday to Galgorm. On the second half performance which i seen yous were very hard done by. View had a blatant penalty when the game was one each. Also Galgorm's equaliser was a bit fortuitous but excellent at the same time. looking forward to tonight should be tight enough if our last few games anything to go by. good luck lads (I don't mean it really)

Abbeyview 2 v 1 Clough
Goal scorers were Andy Robinson and Chris Lynn.
Once again we went a goal behind in quiet first half. Andy Robinson equalised with about 10 minutes to go in the first half. he should have had his hat trick by then but keep blasting them over the bar. ;D
Missed the second half myself as I had to go off but I hear that Chris Lynn scored a great goal.
Always nice to finish the league campaign with a win. ;D

Thought we deserved a point last night lads although it was a really poor match. Both teams seemed very flat what ever the reason was. The referee was quite a laugh I must say. ;D ;D ;D If only my chip would have dropped below the bar instead of hitting it when it was one each. we might have came away with all three.
Good luck in your cup ties. As I said before we might see u's in the final of the George McAuley with a bit of luck.

The first half was even enough but I can't comment on the second as I missed it. As for your lob, the keeper had it well covered As for the ref, father Jack, he must only do it for his drink money. He hardly ever makes a decision and I don't think he brings any cards with him as I've never seen him give one. ;D

Sport Hurts!!!! ;D ;D
One of those things. The same ankle keeps getting injured so it may need a little support from now on if I want to keep playing.
