Any predictions lads? i here that Andy Thompson could be bac for this one this would be a boost. Think 7 towers have started well but we must build up a bit of momentum and carry on were we left of last week.
Season starts here lads...

Gonna be a very tough match with Seven Towers flying high. Need to plug the gap at the back on Saturday to stand a chance of getting anything from this game.
I don't expect another 7-6 thriller. ;D ;D

if Abbeyview dont start pickin up points relegation is a strong possibility, u wont get a tougher game than 7 towers to start the comeback

He sure did...with the aid of his magic toe poking skills. ;D
Really there were a couple of good goals and makes him top goal scorer at the minute.

Abbeyview 5 v 1 Seven Towers
The game got off to the normal start for us...a mistake at the back gifting them a goal in the first 10 minutes. It was a case of here we go again. However it was against the run of play as we opened with a lot of good passing and keeping possesion. We built on this and soon found ourselves level when Gary Brown slotted home. We kept towers on the denensive for long periods and we made it 2 when Andy Robinson broke free to score the second.
the second half saw us play a lot more football which resulted in Gazza getting his second. Must admit that 7Towers were not as organised as i would have expected and we soon went 4 up when a good move down the left resulted in me putting one on a plate for Jackie Todd to volley home. The fifth came from the legend Stevie Smith. Again movement down the left when Mel crossed the ball in for Stevie to spectactularly finish with a diving header.
Overall just what the doctor ordered. A good win against a top of the league team, good passing football with the forwards scoring and only 1 defensive error resulting in a goal. Lets hope we can carry this into our next game in a couple of weeks!!
