This for everybody to comment on. Bremner put himself in the same class bracket as Desi Winters 2day. I find it totally laughable but then mayb im byist. Just want to hear everybody views on it?

Desi Winter was one of the best players ever to grace the saturday morning league. as was harris talbot. Cant recall him ever playing in the 3rd division so it was impossible to win the accolade of 3rd DIVISION player of the year! Its hardly that much to shout about. Steeksy also has mentioned that he is randalstowns only ever player of the year. Think a certain Mr Dowie mite have something to say about that. Randalstown FC, yes but randalstown, no

yea dowie won it the year athletic got promoted.
think steeky's just said he played in a select team with him dont think he said he was as good.
desi was lethal a real player never cryed bout being kicked or anything just ran and ran and ran and ran. and that was after milking a few hundred cows, and clauding bales all day!!!!
passing tackling the lot , he was a complete centre midfielder.
him and harris was a combination.

no mate. dont think ther's a contest there, desi's an all star in the sky blues hall of fame ffs!!!!!
but id say steeky's would agree with that.
ask anyone who watched desi and they tell you he should of played at a far higher level.

Looking forward to hearing steeky's opinion weedo. I think Weedo hit the nail on the head. I did not say that I was as good as Desi Winters. Desi Winters was a superb player....... one of the all time great BSML players. And by the way a perfect gentleman (something his nephew should learn from). What I did say and what Weedo said was that I played in a league representative side along side Desi Winters. I played right back for that team, so at that time, I was the best right back in the league, Desi Winters played centre Midfield so he was one of the best Centre Midfielders in the league at that time. So for me that means that I was in the same class as Desi Winters, best at their position in the league at that time............ you reading Weeman, isnt this great stuff. ;D You have to admit bubbles.....I make a great arguement ;D |

But Benny, your opinion doesn't carry much credence with me mate as you have never played competatively............... I can brag about myself all night.......just ask Weeman and TheCat ;D but I am now bored. Football is all about opinions......everyone has one and they all can be so different...... including Benny.
You are entitled to your opinion, but you cannot change my facts and facts you cannot knock, no matter how hard you try.
Desi Winters was truely a top class player, in my opinion, but there may be others out there that may not think he was as good as I and you say. Lets just end it there.
