1. J. Reid... not a local but fitting in well this season, has learnt the hard way to stay in on Friday nights. Has shown his quality in last few games and seems to have a good interest in the Rovers. 2. S. Lowry... local lad, good clubman(much needed when things are bad) has performed well in centre half position this year with a wee push on fitness has potential to be great player. 3. B. Neill... sweetest left peg in the league, star player this year great attitude, good trainer please stay next year!!! 4.M. Beattie... consistant player at back, work commitments have kept him from showing his best this year but even 75% is good enough for us.(would be great to see what a fully committed Beasty could do ) continued on next post......

5.S. French... hard to believe this big lad is only 16!! Has a bit to learn yet but a great prospect for Rovers future, always gives 100%. 6.M. Rock... glad I'm on his team, big no nonsense defender with some great surges forward leaving the opposition in his wake! Need him to stay clear of injury to give him a chance of getting really fit. 7.P. Cromie... big plus this season, from a wee lad just wanting a kickabout on a Sat. has now developed into a player who wants Rovers to win. Works hard at his game and the effort is paying off. continued on next post.....

glad to hear you were sore too Ronaldo That was my first full session for weeks so I was well pleased I did it all. If I ran you til you were sore I must be reasonably fit I may make myself available for selection for our next game which gives me 3wks training to get ready.

8. R. Barr... very talented player takes after his oul boy, scores a few important goals from midfield, sorry Beattie but I have to say that you are capable of a lot more if you look after yourself off the pitch. Would absolutely love to see the player we got a glimpse off last season. 9. J. McKeown... the quiet man! What a talent, though I have to say a wee bit inconsistent. On his day tortures defences and is up there in the scoring stakes. 10. G.Logan... great clubman, Rovers through and through, knows what he needs to do to improve his game, loads of natural ability important to our club. continued on next post...

8 and a half - Dereck Livingstone (also known as sicknote). Committed veteran pro. Would be playing for Real Madrid he's so good but the games would only need to last 5 minutes and even then Dereck might struggle to finish them. Fully committed to every game - knows he's going to have to leave the field with an injury at sometime so always makes sure he injures something nobody has ever heard of so that we can't dispute his injury. Gives 100% to the club at training and on matchday - puts the younger guys to shame. Needs to rest for about 10 years to give his body time to adjust for all the injuries he has received. So don't expect to see him playing for a while and then he will come out of retirement at the ripe old age of 48 and play the best football ever until he officially retires - at the age of 48 (and a wee bit).

11. N.Logan...talented ball player adds experience up front but again has to take it easy on Sat. nights.Since moving from the Thistle seems to have set his allegiance firmly with the Rovers. This is not necessarily my starting 11 by the way because obviously I'm not in there!!!!! 12.J. Logan... bit early to say but he would run through walls!! needs to work on his finishing though 13. S. Kernoghan... really too early to say, satisfactory performance against Michelin, reckon there is more in there. continued on next post....

14.R. McIntyre... turned into a real good clubman, great to see him back training. A lot of defenders will be worried as they see him on the subs bench so lets hope he can make it into starting 11. 15.G. McLaughlin... one of the clubs stalwarts and is getting better with age.He has even learned to head the ball this year. Seriously though a very skilful and important player. 16. A. Robinson... not very often at home but slots in well wherever he's needed. Always gives a solid performance, plays with a great attitude. continued on next post....

Played with the wee man in the school team. I'll never forget one goal he scored with his head where he outjumped his 6ft + marker!!!!

17. S. Smith... haven't really seen too much of him yet, another youngster at 17. Needs to stick at it and get to training. 18. N. Thompson... another good clubman, came over from the Thistle but has'nt really played much except as sub. Has never let us down yet.
O.K. that's my lot except for the higher level players and myself. No doubt some of you will be able to comment but try not to mention injuries please!!!!!!

It's true Neily has the best left peg i've ever seen. I play with him on a friday nite. Outstanding player. Big Beatie is also solid. Frechie, well he's just Frenchie.
