Pretty poor game tonight, looked like 2 very tired teams and from us it looked pretty much like and end of season league game with nothing really to play for.
We took the lead from a pen first half from Mcquitty after big norty brought him down.
Clough equalised with about 10 mins left when a back pass bounced up on Sean and left the Clough attacker scored in a open net. They got a winner with a couple mins left when a great ball opened up our defence and Kyle was brought down for a pen. Think it was big Byers who put it away well.
Think we've a week to our next game so hopefully we might have sexy, Crilly, Dessie etc back for so we can have a crack at the cup.

From a Clough view it was a very entertaining game as we passed it for fun while Michelin resorted to big hoof up to Mcquitty!!! We lacked the final ball at times but would have been a travesty if we didnt win that one due to the amount of possession. Great save from the keeper from that volley from Byres.

Lol def Clough played some decent football in middle of pitch, thought Harty and Kyle played really well , kept possession far better than us more than we did, but youse lads lumped the ball up to big Eggy as much as we did to mcquitty, big G and Burny spent most the night heading the ball away. Nothing wrong with it but wasnt just quite as free flowing as youse are making it out to be. We didn't deserve the win, though we prob should have went 2-0 up through Tom agnews header, we didn't test yer keeper at all whereas Sean pulled off a couple good saves, especially that one from Byers.
Looked like Clough still had to something to play for whereas at times we were going through the motions.
Its alll about opinions ;D
