Massive improvement from last week in both the attitude and performance today but still fell short of getting a point.
Same old problem for us up top, Sexy being injured and Crilly having a wee lie in left us short in the forwardline and unfortuntley it showed.
Thought our back 5, leroy and especially rubberdome were superb for us. We Battled for 90 minutes and defended really well, thought we kept all the homers main danger men ( Rainey, mccneill and dc ) pretty quiet throughout the game. In saying that bar the odd set piece ( which to be fair the homers defended well against) we never really troubled Studdsy. If big G could only get on the end of his own long throws then we'd be flying ;D
Plenty of positives to take which we hopefully will bring into our next game.

Tbh first half homers had pile of half chances that they never took and if one goes in I think they win comfortably. The longer the game stayed nil nil it obviously suited Michelin and they became harder to break down as homers grew more frustrated.
On the goal I thought Sean made a great save but the defenders stood still and if your full back comes up with the other back three, bonez was offside.
Sean ward and big Gareth were the stand out players for Michelin for me. I have to say for the size of big pavel he was like a bfg, never held it up once or challenged for one ball all morning. As for Crilly I'd of told him to lay on in his bed, absolute joke.

Was a real hard fought 3 points for us today, Michelin battled and defended brilliantly. But we ground it out and I think over the 90 mins we deserved to win the game.
First iv seen Rubberdome SHEEEEEM in CM, I thought him and Leroy were very strong and kept DC quiet, which isnt easy done.
We can play a lot better than that, but like I said, we ground out the 3 points and came away with the win.
Good luck to Michelin for the run in, good bunch of lads. Did Crilly sleep in!?!

No doubt youse def deserved the win bale, youse def dominated the game and says it all when as pele says, Sean and big G were probably our 2 best players, although Mark Burnside done very well against Bonze too.
Again with the personel we had available we didn't really have any other options to play any other way, which was to get men behind the ball , stop youse boys from playing and try to hit you on the break, but really we didn't threaten youse at all but at 1-0 you've always a chance.. Hopefully sexy won't to out too long and mcquitty comes back and we will offer a bit more of an attacking threat going into the midweeks.

Deserved to win the game but anytime I come up against mich, whoever it's been for, they always make it wry difficult to win, never an easy game v them. |

Michelin battled well good luck to them rest of season I reckon you done it cause you were still pissed off after you ran straight into big Paul and even got him booked ;D I thought you were trying to do your old club a favour when you caught the ball that time  Good to see you back playing again anyway mate and after seeing you ballocking Studdsy for time wasting at 1-0 you still havent lost any competitiveness cause you were always a humpy f**ker on the pitch  |

We Battled hard but couldnt create chances! Never really looked like scoring. Sean made a great save for their goal and unfortuantely I was too deep and we were punished!
Need the attitude to be like that more often tho and outside of the top 3 we will create chances!
