It will be a tough game against Carniny as always, but we've been on a good run lately and i think we'll do it.

As any avid Rovers fan knows it was the Ace Cup final that we were defeated by Castletown Ringers last season.

Yeah they did.

There were players on their team in the semi and the final who didn't know who Willie Brown was - Thats what made it worse getting beat by cheats but a protest would just have looked like sour grapes.

Lets go lads!! A final of the Carlsberg cup!! Its there 4 the taken lads. It won't be easy, as Carninny won't make it easy 4 us, but theres no reason y we shouldn't be takin some silverware home to Ahoghill this year. All we have to do is work hard, and keep doin what we've been doin!!

Van Basten are you too gutted to give a report on how Caniny stole the cup? What way did the game go? Were we under a lot of pressure or did we give as good as we got?

well played the other nite lads, u's gave us an excellent game and its unfortunate the winners where decided on penalties as its the worst way possible to win a game. however u's were gracious in defeat........good luck next season rovers

Was a good game but youse maybe had the better chances to win it before the pens.

Still, we got to look forward to next season and try to take our form from the end of this one into next and hopefully stay well clear of the dreaded relegation zone.

Yeah it was a great game. When Lindsay Curry and Rab Wright both miss penalties you would think your name was on the cup but unfortunately not.

Didnt realise when that final was on or would have watched it. Hard luck lads. Just goes to show that consistency is definitely the problem - in both Ahoghill sides. If you can reach finals two years in a row, yous should be looking for a much higher league finish.
