Great 5 nil win today, made better by being a great team performance as we knocked the ball about and broke at pace.
Special mention to derek reid who was outstanding today...absolute smashing player!!

Looking pretty solid as last 2 games but there's alot of footy to play. Just hope we stay injury free and everyone is coming back at the right time for the run in. The attitudes are right on the money atm and adding the wee bit of experience has brought the other boys on something shocking. Agree about Del......fantastic movement off the ball.

Watched Cloughmills a few months ago and they looked a decent team. All of their players looked comfortable on the ball and of course they have added to the squad since then. Maybe a bit of a gap for them to go up automatically but in my eyes they will make play-offs and not sure many teams will fancy taking them on.

Having played them recently and knowing how tight the 2nd is the auto places are not beyond them. Does anyone know what way promotion is this year with the teams in the first folding ?

Cheers lads although I think we're too far off the automatic places. We still have to play Fc Antrim home and away, Ballykeel at home and Carnlough at home. If you take those 4 games out of our remaining 8 points will be hard come by. Realistically we're hoping for a good cup run (although we get Carnlough in rd 2) and hit the playoffs and see what happens. In my opinion we're not ready to go up and I've seen it time and again teams going up and struggling in the first and fading away or dropping down divisions like a stone! If you're going into the first, in my personal opinion , you have to go up as clear leaders of the 2nd. That being said if we find ourselves in the playoffs we'll be in them to win them

Does anyone know what way promotion is this year with the teams in the first folding ? two up automatically and then one through the playoffs!! technically still 3 getting relegated from division one just that one of the teams (westend) going down wont be taking part next year!! this does mean next year division two will only have 13 teams and may mean at the agm if teams agree to making it back up to 14 that an extra team from the third gets promoted
