Goals win games and we couldn't do that. We should of won that today but didn't, homers defended well at times and got that bit of luck for the goal, good finish from DC, uphill task for us now but we won't give up easy. Well done homers.

Clough boys only post when they're winning Unlucky lads Personally I think the last thing any of them wanted to do after losing arguably their biggest game on penalties, was to come on here and let everyone know straight away. I'm sure it was the last thing on their minds so I think you can forgive them this time. I'm sure they are gutted at the minute but when they get the chance to reflect a few weeks down the line they can be proud of their achievements in the junior competitions this year. |

I've logged on a couple of times over the weekend but can only bring myself to post about it now. It still hurts the way we went out and i'll have regrets about that for a long time but i couldn't fault the effort we put it on Saturday and throughout the course of the Junior Shield, we far exceeded even our own expectations and i'd say a couple of spectators at the game on Saturday were more than happy to see us go out.
Bale maybe when you actually get to play in a game of such importance and come out of it on the losing side you'll understand why we were so quiet all weekend.
