Missed the first half an hour so no idea what happened for that time.
We took the lead shortly after I arrived, Tommy McCullough scoring a belting goal from 25 years, left foot in too corner... It will never ever happen again ;D we held the lead comfortably enough til half time.
As expected Sky blues came out and had a real go 2nd half, pinned us back in our half for a good part of the half due to a mixture of good play from sky blues and our inability to hold the ball up top. Randall scored a good equaliser with about an hour gone after a great ball through from Craig. We went done to 10 men with a red card for dissent and it was basically backs to the wall from then. Sky blues scored their winner with a couple mins when Sean made a great save from a one on one but unfortunately it hit off our defender straight to their striker who knocked it into an empty net.
Thought a draw would have been a fair result for both teams, both had a few chances but can't remember either keeper having a difficult save to make.
For a neurtral it would have been a great game to watch, Both teams played decent football and there was some good old fashioned hard tackles flying in too.
Sky blues have some cracking players playing for them and wouldnt surprise me if they were challenging for a top 4 place at end of season.
For Mich, we didn't really look like scoring many goals today even though we played well ,we knew losing mcQuitty would be a big loss but Tom Agnew is unavailable for a while too so we also miss his attacking threat. Doesn't leave us with too Many options but there was plenty of positives to take from the game... Just no points
