Deserved victory for Thistle today.
From our point of view we were awful, probably as bad as we've been for a couple seasons, but Thistle were organised very well, battled for everything and in fairness we only had one shot on target in the 90 mins which was a penalty.
First half ended goaless , though doik missed a couple chances he would usually have put away.
2nd half very little was created from both teams until we got a pen which was well saved by goram from Mcquitty. Thistle basically went straight up the pitch and scored after a good solo run ( think it was Daniel Brown) didn't see the second goal or know who scored it. We put on alot of pressure after the second goal but never looked like scoring.
Hopefully we bounce back in the cup next week.

It was Dee Campbell who scored the first and wee Squeak the second.
Lot of people around the league saying Thistle are thugs...what about Michelin No. 8, throwing a dig at Duck and then trying to break the RBs leg 2 mins after it...root

I thought though if he had tried to break somebodys legs then he would at least try to make contact with him, fair doos from a distance it might have looked bad but he was nowhere near him, think the right back was the only one not trying to get him sent off. |
