Anyway moving on from dowies very public attack on me we have a big game tomorrow. Carnlough going very well and are currently 5 points clear on us. They've recruited well and have a strong squad all available for tomorrow. Biggest test of the season so far against the league favourites. Mon the view  |

Jeff was the keeper & davy number 4?
good game today. enjoyed it. as has already been said dunga scored a goal like the beckham one v wimbledon. won the ball in his own half & the keeper was out & never got to it. went 2-0 up with a good finish from timber. think at that point if we'd held for 5-10 mins we would have won it but abbeyview got back into it with a screamer. momentum was with abbeyview after that and they got an equaliser with about 15 left & looked the more likely to win it but we hang on. a very physical game between two good sides in this division. for us i'd say we would have took a draw before kick off but at 2-0 up there's a touch of disappointment too. both sides will be in the mix come the end of the year & will battle it out with one or two others all the way imo.

Can't really argue with any of that maccers really was a hard fought battle. At 2 nil down I'd of bitten your arm off for a point but having got the momentum I felt we could of stole it and a but for 2 crackin saves by your keeper from Zola we might have done. Allin all a point was probably fair and your right there will be 3 or 4 teams in the mix come the end of the season.

Wasn't a blooper IMO. Was a hell of a strike I was on the edge if my 18 were I should of been. Jus one of them things il not be beating myself up over it |

Happily take a point now! Point happily taken! We were better team first half. Abbeyview better team second half. We tired quite badly today which isnt like us at all which in turn naturally made us drop deeper & deeper and invited pressure. Although abbeyview have the games in hand we are happy with our position considering the teams we have played away from home. Draw suited FC Antrim today as well, same way as keel v view draw would do us nicely next time out! Donko was that you that was ref? |
