I haven't seen any sign of him, but then i haven't made many sessions myself. Think he was back training with Wakehurst and had played for our afternoon side in a game or two! Great performance tonight from Clough, game could have gone either way with Big John making a couple of superb saves and us having a great finish chalked off wrongly for offside.
Thought we more than held our own tonight and always pleasing to do that against a higher level side.
That was the first i've played on that 3g at Moyola and have to say it's much better quality than the Ballymena Showgrounds pitch.

Great kicker of the ball, his height will always be a bit of a problem though. Still prone to a few silly mistakes from time to time but can pull off some super saves. Surprised Ricky Mellon and Lee not starting, though suppose it's only a friendly. A fit Ricky Mellon would be in my starting 11 every week. Good to see a few younger players around the place, Dougie, Pete, Roy, crow, Stevie Mellon , ratman all in their 30's now so needed a big of young blood in there. |
